Hey everyone! In the (very) off chance you're wondering who I am, I created this account for originally viewing Red Alert 3 Paradox being the big C&C fan I am. I've since expanding to other mods but most center around the C&C series with Generals and Zero Hour being a big favorite of mine. As for who I am and what I do there's not much to say, I'm trying to learn 3D modeling right now to give me a hobby.

Well, its been real guys. Five years, even for something that didn't get finished, is a major accomplishment. The lore written alone is a major accomplishment. Either way, I'm always on Steam if anybody wants to get in touch with me.

For dev team of Paradox, thanks for the five years of fun. This isn't a good-bye, but I will leave you with this. An old good-bye every EVE Online player (like myself!) knows... Can I have your stuff?

I like that one. Would look a lot better than the current gun. It just looks like the Allies designed the destroyer and forgot they needed to put a gun on and decided "Crap. Okay find a cannon and we'll put some stilts to attach it to the front. What could go wrong?"

Ah okay, thanks for the answer. I kept trying to figure out how the inside of the riptide would look to have to fit all those soldiers and the crew...

I didn't say make the gun smaller. I'd rather see the weapon enlarged a bit and put on a traditional turret and not some freaky modern version of a Swivel Gun. Size isn't as important since damage sponge units usually don't have devastating weapons to match their armor.

Harkwell Mar 5 2012, 12:45pm says:

The aircraft carrier looks size appropriate, which is great considering it should have been bigger in vanilla RA3. The destroyer seems huge and it almost seems like that single gun doesn't match the size. I realize the Destroyer acts more as a damage sponge for the Allies but the fact that the gun is bigger than the stand that attaches it to the ship makes it look like the first time it fires the cannon will snap off backwards. Not to mention the stand doesn't look very sturdy.

Almost done! The riptides look a bit small compared to the Peacekeepers. This considering they have to carry five of them in that thing. That might be influenced by perspective though.

Holy crap these planes are awesome! I love that A-10 Wa-, erm I mean Vindicator. :D

Seriously though, the Gatling gun was a great idea. It really screams Tank Hunter.

Also, since the Apollo's heroic (according to the wiki) is a one shot missile, how powerful are those two babies gonna be?

Wow, everything is really looking good. I have to ask though, what happened to the Vietcong's green thumb protocol?

Also, is it me or should those Vietcong infantry getting shot by the Predator be dying almost instantly instead of lasting as long as under the jeep's fire as they are now?

Hmm... kinda looks like a propane tank with wings, especially with that circular structure on the back end. Doesn't exactly scream high-tech fighter to me but I guess people in the 1960s had different ideas on what high-tech looked like.

CO: "No they don't. This makes NO sense whatsoever."

Also, love the design. The tower almost looks like it can retract into the base.

So THATS how the MiGs are assembled. After reading the wiki I got the impression they bought a only a few from the Soviets and that was all they could afford to buy on top of the fighter's maintenence.

As far as the MiG-21s, I was aware the RL NVA had MiGs. Had forgotten about it till you pointed that out (for some reason I thought the last time the US airforce had to fight MiG's was in Korea.)

Thats a pretty cool effect. I know the guy on the right has a PPsh and the left one has the Hex-49. No clue about the middle one though.

As for the Pincer I know the Vietcong fight using concealment but i think the fact its a big APC with an even bigger rack of rockets mounted to it might make that a little hard...
Unless the Vietcong are really good at hide and seek. :D
