I like playing video games, but I more like to make maps and mod the games my self. I've always been making maps and trying to mod my games, since I was a kid. I have a lot of half-life mapping and some modeling and texturing. I also like Half-life 2 and Doom 3. I like to take a game I like and make my own chapter, my own piece that I can create, I can personalize it, customize.

The best aspect that AOM has going for it is atmosphere. The player is shown rather than told that they are alone, and in despair, trying to escape with no obvious way out.
The gritty textures, little to no lighting and spooky ambiance paint an unpleasant picture. Demented enemies sneak up and attack, while you have to worry about ammo, health and batteries.
This is one abstract game, highly recommended.
