Magnificent. Basically EB1 (from Rome:TW), but nice and more authentically looking, and more challenging. To quote a friend of mine around its release in autumn 2014: "The first time I ever lost a battle in Total War..."
This is a must-have for all you fans of European antiquity. The look and feel of various Germanic and Celtic tribes in this is alone worth getting this. My biggest problem has to be the lack of unit variety. Especially noticable with Greek cultures
The best multiplayer mod for Mount & Blade warband, hands down. The small but dedicated team behind "The Deluge" is one virtuoso bunch of chaps that I hold to an unusually high degree of respect and dignity. Groundbreaking.
Very, very competent mod work on this title. Usually when a "mod" is great, I would call it just that. But the success behind this has to do with nothing else with a purely competent and professional dev team, with a big bunch of superb quality contributions all around. Still needs some work to reach toward perfection, but that is a matter of time.
9.5/10, would throw money at.
