It happened as well with the Wally T1 field engineer. I tried spawning both in and there was no model. I'm going to try reinstalling the mod (which I probably should have tried first) and see if that helps.

Update: Yup, looks like somehow the files I had corrupted and removed something. It worked once upon a time, so I may have removed something. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!!

Hey question, if this hasn't been address before. I've tried playing the version hosted by FAF, and when I try to build the T1 Light Artillery as UEF, as soon as I click the icon the game crashes. It pops up an Unhandled Exception error with the callstack saying Unknown Symbol and last 100 lines of the log reading "warning: GetResource: Invalid Name""
Is this something specific to FAF, or just something on my computer? Regardless, love the work!!

I've been playing only as UEF but not getting any warnings so far as as I can tell. Still learning how to read the logs, honestly. The game freezes immediately after I click the build icon for those buildings/units, waits 30ish seconds, then closes with the "Send Error" dialog. Which log would be best to look at for finding the error/missing assets?

Hey question, enjoy the mod but I keep getting a crash whenever I try to build T2 storage (either mass or energy, doesn't matter). I'm playing on the Steam version of FA, not FAF. Any thoughts or suggestions? I've shut off all other mods to test and run fresh games, tried re-downloading and extracting (0.8.3), etc. Still no dice. Thanks!

Something I noticed the other day while playing a few games, not totally sure this is the place, but seemed best:

Norway class ships seem to sit outside weapons range when ordered to attack a target and have to be manually moved closer to start shooting.

Akira class ships turn really slowly to "broadside" targets, which seems to leave half of their weapons unable to fire. This seemed more of a problem once the weapon facing the target was destroyed. It also feels like it moves too slow for the attack destroyer class that it is intended to be, making it less desirable to add to attack fleets.

Excelsior class ships would sit close to the edge of weapon ranges. When the front phasers and torpedos get destroyed, the rear torpedo weapon port is out of range of targeted ships.

These were all from playing the Steam Workshop version, in Skirmish and GC matches, so if anyone is still checking here after that update, here is this.

Otherwise, I'm loving the mod! Super fun to play, and something I've been looking for for a long time.

If it takes them ten years, it takes them ten years. So what? My life is not wrapped up in this, and I understand that this work takes a very long time to do. If only 6 people have been working on it for the last 9 months, then this is actually fairly impressive. This is a free product done by people because they wanted to. I've seen large studios put out poorer quality work after a longer period of time, and charge money for it. So if they want to keep working on this and improve it over time, then that's the way it will be. Besides, people were screaming for some sort of release date, and so now after they've essentially been pushed to release it, many people are upset because it's not amazing. You can never satisfy everyone.

So I played a game for a while, and wanted to see if anyone else noticed this. I know people know about the AI building only dreadnoughts, but I left my game running for about 2 hours and found that some of the AIs had started building smaller ships (cruisers, destroyers, fighters) after completing about 8 dreadnoughts. This was primarily the Geth. Anyone else notice anything like this?

Not gonna lie, I'm actually on the side of the modders here. I'm rather surprised and disappointed at the number of people who whine and complain because something doesn't happen, or there are problems along the way. As if they've never been in a similar situation. Come on, people! Be patient, and work with them. And before you say "we have been patient," if you've never modded or even coded before, then don't say anything because you have no idea what they've had to do to even get this far.

Love the work I'm seeing here! I do have a question, and maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Whenever I play against the Goa'uld, there are strange visual distortions around their ships, like a small circular area around the ships is shaking or spazzing out. It doesn't seem to hinder gameplay, but it is very distracting. Has anyone mentioned this before? I've been going through the forum but haven't found anything. Thanks!!

Just re-found this mod, and I'm really enjoying it, but I had a couple questions that I couldn't find answers to on here.
1. I get an exception error in GC after defeating the Alpha Anomoly battle - is this due to it being WIP, or something on my end?
2. My friend and I tried to play multiplayer, us vs AI, and we both get the exception error. It works fine when we play against each other, but fails when against AI. Any thoughts?

I'm very impressed by the work of this mod!

Okay, so this might have been answered earlier, but I can't find it if is has. When I start a skirmish match, nothing of mine shows up. The map shows, the neutral buildings show, the game is playing, but my stuff isnot there. I've installed the mod (using the available download), patched my game to 1.1, patched it so it works with Windows 7, deleted the Graphicdetails.xml file, launched it with the Petroglyph launcher, and even manually inserted the files. Has anyone else run into this? If this has been solved earlier, please point me to the right post and solution. Thanks!
