When playing as France the Polish Guard Lancers are described in the description as the best lancers of their time. But the Dutch Guard Lancers are more numerus and only slightly worse in stats making them win an actual fight between the two.

So my question is why did you make the Polish Guard Lancers number only 144 soldiers and the Dutch Guard Lancers number 164 soldiers?

Also, on your discord there is not a single channel were one can post feedback. Would be great if there was one.

The mod is far from done though. It seems the mod author has just copied a bunch of units from other mod packs into this mod without giving them matching looks, unit cards or even names. It also has created a ton of duplicate units and units with strange names. For example most of the swedish units are named in russian because the author just copy pasted a bunch of them from another mod. And that is just the unit side of this mod.

The list of fixes before this becomes polished is massive.

First Topic

Can you please make an updated campaign guide for viewing somewhere. For example as a word document when you download the mod or accessible on a webpage similair to the changelog?

The reason I ask is that i would apreciate to know where each faction can recruit what units. In the post "NTW3 v9.0 SP Campaign info for players" on twcenter.net it is never mentioned that France can actually recruit 10 units of Swiss soldiers from Lutzern, Switzerland. Took me by surprise and would have been VERY good to know from the start.

Second Topic

Please add some more unique French starting marshals. For example since i took Warsaw I really want Poniatowski to lead my Polish units. Would have been great if he was added to the beginning of the campaign with a unique portrait like the other starting marshals like Ney, Murat, Davoust etc.

Is the mod still very unstable? Previously i was never able to finish a campaign due to crashes on the campaign map. This usually happened a long time into the campaign when ending a turn.

TheEliteDwarf Would it not be more fitting for the Khan of Rhûn to have Lôke-Innas instead of Lôke Rim as a bodyguard?
I know that that particular cav unit is very strong, but you have to admit it is more fitting for a faction leader of the steppe to thunder on hooves than to trod on foot.

Just a tip that the unit model of Noldor/Eldarinwë units in MOS 1.7 are of a better quality. Their skirts are abit open in the front, which makes them look less like womens skirts and more like tabards. In case you are able to use those instead it would improve their looks.

Dunedain Blademasters, Dunedain Swordsmen, Dunedain Steelbowmen & Dunedain Cavalry all have completely different unit cards compared to their battlefield unit model when they are fully armor upgraded.

It would be awesome to see the unit cards corresponding with the highest armor upgrade of the unit instead of it's lowest armor.

It was already part of the installation process was it not? Anyway yeah i redid it now with medieval2.exe, kingdoms.exe & Launcher.exe, ticked the box & saved.

If i do not reply here again it means it works and i no longer have any crashes.

Getting frequent CTD's starting from around turn 50 (it is now constantly crashing every 5-10 turns or so) during the end turn loading. I do not remember having this problem in 3.0. Is this something that you the developers are aware of?

It's good the game starts up and loads so quickly since it is an old game, but it is very immersive breaking having to start the game up again every 5-10 turns.

Thank you for the very detailed answer, but the fault is with me here because i was not clear in my question.
I want the new nation that emerges to be called "Naples" or "Regno d'Napoli" or "Protectorate of Naples".

Right now it is called "Regno d'Italia" which is looking VERY wierd since there is already a "Regno d'Italia" in Milan.

I am trying to recreate the Napoleonic Empire and just took over Rome, now i moved down to Naples and tried to make a protectorate of it, but it just becomes another "Regio d'Italia" nation with an Italion flag.

Any way i can make a protectorate of Naples in the game?

Seems like the most pressing issue right now with this mod is to simplify the installation, concidering the amount of problems people are reporting here and on TWCenter. I really hope that 9.0 will be one single big .exe file.

I am unable to use "Empire At War Remake Booster Steam.bat" (Yes i play on the steam version).
Could this be because i do not have EaW installed on the C:/ hard drive but instead have it on another E:/ hard drive?

The error message i get when i try to run the .bat is saying it cannot locate C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Empire at War/corrution/StarWarsG.exe

But that is because it is located in E:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Empire at War/corrution/StarWarsG.exe

Is there anyway to apply this booster bat file to my Empire at War game somehow?

Late game really needs land buildings back, it gets very monotonous having to fight small space battles over and over again against your well defended frontier planets. With the planetary cannon you can end those battles quickly.

What was the trick with making the game more stable and stop crashing? (apart from using the steam version, duh). Was it was something with task manager and using less processor cores or? If someone could explain it here or in a separate stickied post or make it a part of the installation instructions i would very much apreciate it, thank you

Is there any way for me to change some .xml file numbers or something to get the old space battle camera back?

I am getting headaches during space battles (it is not a joke or an insult towards this great mod, but i am actually getting headaches).
It is a combination of factors causing it. It has to do with the space ships and how they spawn in different height levels. Being positioned sometimes very far away but actually looking on the battle map as if they in fact are very close to eachother. And while moving the camera this distance keeps shifting enormously (yes it has allways been like this i know). But now combined with how the new camera is working it is causing a pressure/headache in my head while playing.
If there is a way to change the battle camera back to 2.3 i would be eternally grateful if someone could explain it, because as it is now i can no longer play through the space battles :(

Will the Validusia be made for 3.0 or a later version of the mod? Im trying to get an estimate of how many months are left untill 3.0 goes live, because you said the Validusia alone will take a month of dedicated work to complete correct?

P.S How do i construct the Titan-class star battlecruiser? I am playing as rebels now and i see that the empire is constructing it, but i never found out how to build it when i was playing the empire, help?

Maybe there are traces of versions prior to 2.2 in your EAW-Remake-2.2 folder? Try deleting the EAW-Remake-2.2 folder and unpack EAW-Remake-2.2 and EAW-Remake-2.3_PATCH.1 into your mod folder again and see if it solves the problem.

Also do not continue campaigns old campaigns used on previous versions prior to 2.3
