The actual official voice packs were supposed to be out by now, but earlier in the Summer I made the mistake of having the good dozen or so of them saved only locally to my machine. Then my machine burnt itself out.
Good show.

We technically have plans for all of VT's four campaigns roughly plus the overarching story that ties them all together, at least in regards to where we're going. But one step at a time.
Workshop integration probably. But that being said with the campaign, we're going over in our heads what we did wrong and what was wrong with release so we won't do it again if TS still utilizes us. I personally wasn't too happy with the release on account of the wrong build being initially posted, that and a few audio things which still need to be hammered out + a few order of operations issues. I'm not very happy in general with VT's current state, however I'll post a black ops report soon regarding our impressions of release.
It would only be right to fix the first before moving onto the second, but that being said we are ready to move on if needed.
Biggest update to date? Yes. Something worthy of VT Version 1.0:
A game that we would love to work on for the future on because those of us who worked on it, TS in particular, had our noses in the dirt for three years already.
Of course a V1 hardly means we're gonna stop working, but it gives us a sigh of relief that we've gotten this far.
Personally I fear that perhaps 1 Campaign might've seemed a bit meek given the time we've had, but I digress. This is really just the beginning.
Getting the house in order and cleaning up.
Restless Bonds is planned to be around three times in length and scope. Planned at least. It always fluxes, but we intend for it to be much more fleshed out than HT.
I suppose if you want a straight comparison, Hollow Thunder is Vector Thrust's demo.
After release, we'll divert attention to revamping Restless Bonds. That will be, in my mind, VT's first full fledged campaign. Bells and whistles and all.
Nah, she's not a teenager. We're not going down 'that' path, last thing I personally want is us having to work with eighteen year old psuedo-adults masquerading as killers and pilots. But yeah, mid twenties is a good description of Castle's age. Lynx, just a tad older.
In speaking of that general system of a 'gallery' yeah, we're looking into having that. We've been referring to it as a codex or a bible, but it's something we'd like to have ingame eventually.
In regards to content, we'll probably set aside some hefty material, akin to how Mass Effect did it.
For example, for Castle's bio here, we'll probably mention how she's an aircraft enthusiast first, not wanting to have become a pilot of war. In fact she tried to join the air force of Voslow out of love of aircraft, but the gender restrictions made it not an option for her. A few, perhaps misguided, dealings later she's now a regular, if not green, mercenary pilot. This is seen in her aircraft actually. She doesn't have much funds accumulated yet, but that Fishbed is decked out like a Mustang in scheme, reflective of her interests.
The folder which currently hosts the audio integrated new campaign build actually peaks out at 1.5 gb, uncompressed and finalized.
I think I can safely say we'd like to consider that idea, but our concerns are about making the game first as opposed to distribution. We'll be sure to reapproach this topic another time.
I'd be interested in hearing you out. Friend me and we'll talk.
Worrying about the wrongs things really.
Internally, we refer to that sound effect in the script as a "glomp".
And Castle? Yeah, she's generally more cheerful than the other St. Richards pilots.
There are settlements present on them for the matter of prestige by the two most powerful powers on the Battle Weary World.
Perhaps in such a damned world people like the concept of finding another place to escape to. Fair enough.
How will this factor ingame? Well, we'll see.
We're under orders to be rather conservative with our plane list for Hollow Thunder, as another note.
The Battle Weary World has never been specified as Earth, or at least, our Earth.
Generally speaking, new.
We spend a lot of time thinking about the world we could be building when we're waiting on bug fixes.
I don't see why that wouldn't be possible, and it certainly is a plan.
Yeah, I forgot to put over a BGM with this test. Fear not.
Yes, but it doesn't stop them from using them as much as it stops people from using the Tukreb or our favorite tortilla chip F-104.
Off the top of my head, the original Eulyrian vets probably acquired second hand aircraft from Poltavia. So things like SU-27s, MiG-21s, the odd prototype or kit aircraft.
They have the privilege nowadays of being picky with aircraft, back then, not so much. Of course what make a Legionnaire is the pilot, not the plane.
That being said the SOF forces deploy with stuff like mandible equipped helmets and those odd XM8 rifles. A bit pretentious really, in my opinion, but oddly fitting.
She's just a child; a war orphan in a kingdom long past its prime. Not a merc. Just a survivor trying to do simply just that: survive in a world that damned her.
Children of war have, not out of intentional design of course, emerged as important characters in Vector Thrust's grand tale. A-Kay is one. The other, well, she's quite contrasted in comparison.
Upon further review I need to correct myself:
We've neglected to add in our moons.
Basically the A2G ordnance. This mission has you fresh from a mission that facilitates such a weapon choice, so, spoiler perhaps, you take a Warthog or Frogfoot out you're gonna fight tooth and nail in this one.
HT at least should be revamped before or as we leave EA.
