Excellent addon, much needed.

This is great! The player will need to be able to zoom in very close to be able to use this, but it's a good start.

Destroy/release is not a change made by this addon. The Anomaly devs must have changed that, which this mod inherits because it uses the most up to date files (in fact it is not even a translated string and is hard-coded into the itms_manager.script). The player sees it as destroy, but the command sent to the Xray engine is release, so they must have changed it for precision. If you prefer "destroy", open itms_manager.script and change the word on line 876. Players who do not use debug will never see this, in any case.

This is a great addon, and its functionality should be brought into the main game as an option.

Those light exos have nicer hands, too.

It also prevents every game from being exactly the same: will I get a Monolith or Military Nosorog this time? That the Nosorog is the only viable choice beyond mid-game is a larger issue for the Anomaly devs to work out.

Now updated for 1.5.0 Update 4 Hotfix 8. Includes a number of corrections to the new options menu, including highlighting the preset menu in green, which was previously obscured by the options menu frame.

The player can repair armour themselves rather easily. It takes more time, and you have to find the right parts, and deliver all the right toolkits, and pay for repair kits, so it is gated to an extent, but this all works out cheaper than buying repairs, and certainly gives access to better equipment than anyone is willing to sell you, early on. As the person above says, this addon has the greatest effect early and mid game, before the player can do all of these things, by forcing them to purchase their first good suit from their faction. This has the additional effect of making each different faction playthrough more unique, as the gear available will change.

Edit: I forgot to mention disguises. Many different suits can be purchased at the Flea Market, which now has new importance. For factions without access to this, there are also the Ecologists.

In discussions about this on the discord server, it was felt that a chance-based system, but with greatly reduced chances, would not solve the problem, as some playthroughs will still produce a Nosorog on day 1. But I would encourage you to release something so that people can try it out.

I'm not sure what you're talking about RE removal, but thank you for your comments. A random chance based drop would be little different from the current system, and would probably be more annoying than simply disabling armour drops full stop. There is enough randomness in Anomaly as it is. This addon simply restores a choice that would otherwise remain unavailable.

It looks like something is being changed under the hood in CS:S. Will need to investigate this further.

Yes - a major expansion is near completion. There won't be new maps in this release, but all missions have been tightened and enhanced, and many have been rewritten entirely. Look for it in about 6 weeks or so.

Each mission is balanced to the weapons available within it, with more powerful weapons available as missions demand it. Using commands to give extra weapons before they would otherwise appear will ruin the game. If you want to just try out weapons, you can visit the weapons range in the mission hub.

Sounds like something is wrong with your Counter-Strike: Source installation. Make sure CS:S itself runs fine - play maps with bots, for example, to check that cs_italy (the second map of the first campaign) works correctly. If it's all fine there then it should be all fine in this mod, as long as you haven't made any changes to the mod files after installation.

As above, this error is produced by editing the game config files by hand. You should not edit the config.cfg. If there are changes you want to make, use the user_custom.cfg, but any errors you produce here are up to you to fix. You can always re-install the game if things go badly wrong.

This is an error not related specifically to this mod but rather to a failure to mount required resources. You need to verify the game cache for Counter-Strike: Source.

From Steam support:

Load Steam
From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

This is only a map patch and doesn't affect any other part of the game. Check for solutions outside this mod.

The next map is DE_Inferno. This patch will prevent crashes at this point. If you still get crashes after CS_Havana, then you have not installed the patch correctly. When the patch asks for a path, make sure it is pointing to your sourcemods\CSS SCI FI\ directory

This can only happen if the config or script files have been edited after installation, or by using a third party mod for this mod. Uninstall, delete the CSS SCI FI directory, then reinstall the mod using only the main installer + map patch.

It sounds like you have a problem with your Steam installation. Use this link: Install to install the SDK base. If you can launch the SDK base to the menu screen then you should have no trouble with this mod.

The map patch will definitely fix the issue. You have to check that it is using the correct paths for installation. If necessary, delete your CSS SCI FI installation and start over.
