Description

According to ancient Toltecs, there were two sides of the reality and also two sides of a being:

Tonal, island of Tonal:
Ordered reality, ordered infinity, beliefs and systems of beliefs, images of the world (energy perceived, seen as items and objects).

Nagual, the brim, coast of the island, and the ocean around it:
Unordered reality, raw infinity, that can be only witnessed, named and described, but by no means explained (such as defying laws of both gravity and anti-gravity);
the unknown, but knowable;
and the unknown, but unknowable.

So Tonal was another name for a cognitive system, and Nagual for anything that is beyond it.

Universe as a whole, planets, energy cores, energies, etc. are still considered Tonal. Energy is ordered.

Intelligence in itself is unordered. Intelligence is unchanged, still, stable, can't be ordered or unordered. It only appears to perception as unordered.

I.e. anything that is a part of your awareness is Tonal. For example belief systems, beliefs, reason and language (talking; thinking that was called inner dialogue by Toltecs; verbal communication) are Tonal. Beliefs about devils and angels, positivity and negativity are Tonal. Anything that is known to your awareness or processed by it is Tonal.

Nagual is the unknown, the inexplicable, that is neither an object nor a belief.
