Really? If cartoons predict the future, where's my RX-78-3?

You would need to wait! And a gread deal of time for it. Since making mechs are extremely material-consuming, plus one needs to count that AI coding or "simple" setting up appropriate machinery and controls...

... but you can always hope. There are many Japanese robots that saw the daylight. They just need to, erm, grow a little bit...

actually the trip to India cost nothing, he settled a trade deal with india that brought in roughly 5 times more than what it costs to go there... Stop listening to Glenn Beck...

Glenn Beck? You mean what he supposedly (didn't see/read a complete video/news) said lately about a government staged false flag terror attack?

Found out about it just today, after you said it... -_- This pic was posted a waaaaay before him saying anything, AFAIK.

i was referring to Glenn Beck because he always gives out false news and he himself is an all-round loser. I was basically saying that whoever made this image should really get a sense of reality... The Simpsons CAN NOT predict the future as it is just a TV show (imagine...) and the information about the President's trip is false.

LOL, some many news are false?

The Simpsons obviously can't, the AUTHOR who knows something can, and he simply puts it into his artwork. -_-

Doesn't definitely mean it may or not come true. Depends on hundreds/thousands/millions of circumstances...

Came past, nothing bad happened. Now should I go with the MSX-06 or the RX-178?

It's just the Simpsons.

These are not Bible's prophecies... such as destruction of Damascus. Prophecy regarding the complete destruction of Damascus hasn't come true yet.

Damascus belongs to Syria now, it'll be probably either nuked or completely destroyed with missiles by Israel in our... years/days.

No MSX-06 or RX-178 for you, unfortunately/fortunately. ;-) The end of the world as we know it (not the world/Earth itself) will be occurring up to (UP TO, not the exact day) 21 December, 2012.

I'm kidding around with you. and I think some of the Grunt suits might work better in a RL setting. you just have to use the more practical uses of Mecha, like Fear.

Practical mecha are completely worthless for warfighting. Big targets, lots of surface area, slower than a tank, high center of gravity, high ground pressure, tons of moving parts... it is literately the worst machine you can build to fight a battle.

True, Yet you show off a Prototype, and you get everyone else wasting money on useless metal coffins.

Description

"To Surveil With Love" episode of The Simpsons, aired May 2, 2010.

You need take it all with a pinch of salt.

And yes, I know, it sounds ridiculous, and wouldn't publish it if not for the Obama's coincidental visit to India.
One of the most expensive of US presidents' visits up to date, BTW!

News about Obama's visit:

(Other news:

That's not all, of course. Some of top US CEOs are on the way there too. Coincidentally?

Note that's all just speculation based on this episode of The Simpsons, nothing more. But what if something on November 6 really happens? But as said earlier, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. We'll see something or nothing in about two days.
