Your comment proves you haven't really played it. Why does it need a single player? It was developed to be multiplayer.
The servers aren't laggy. They fixed that a while ago in a patch.
Confusing goals? The only goals in the game are the goal you choose.
Not everyone shoots on sight. As a matter of fact 3 out of every 5 players i meet are friendly. Just avoid players with a bandit mask on.
How is wanting to release the game on it's own engine, which improves the game overall a bad thing? If you ask me, It does/did deserve it. Sure it has it flaws and may be buggy. But DayZ is the most fun i have had in a game in years. It was/is refreshing to play a game like this when there are some many games out there doing the same damn thing over and over. But to each his own.

Woot! DayZ and CoF really Deserved it! Yea sure DayZ may be buggy but that doesn't mean it doesn't serve it. Last i checked this award was given to mods that players thought were fun, and innovative. And the top 3 mods fit that bill. All three of them are really fun despite their bugs.

Arma's engine is actually one of the most powerful. The engine can do alot more than most engines. The engine was designed to be a simulator not an FPS. It has ALOT more to calculate than say, BF3. Play around with the engine and Arma 2 and you will see it's not as bad as everyone thinks.

The Arma engine is better than the battlefield engine... Its much more powerful. The only thing frostbite has going for it is the destructible buildings.

Will this game be on steam when its released?

yes. The Pc version of HL2 requires steam as far as i know.

Sooo are you going to be able to fist fight in a future update?
