Hi, which version should I be using to play this mod now? The game is at 1.98, the mod is for 1.96, and the betas on steam only go to 1.94 at the latest.

Asking cause while the game runs fine on 1.98, the map I tried (Ascendant Legacy) had about half of the planets lead to one of the players capitals, comically long phaselanes. Not even connected to each other, just leading to the poor guy's capital. I checked in galaxy forge and it looked fine at a glance so I'm thinking maybe I'm on the wrong version?

Is this compatible with the remaster mod?

Is the AI unable to build ships? Fought them on some maps with water, they build docks but no ships. Toughest difficulty btw, if it helps.
