So I've got a fresh install of Call of Pripyat on Steam, and the most recent version of Gunslinger (from the discord). Followed the instructions completely and correctly and when I try to launch the game I get this error:

"The procedure entry point ?pLog@@3P6AXPAD@ZA could not be located in the dynamic link library
C:\Users\User\Desktop\GUNSLINGER_mod\bin\xrSound.dll"

Not sure what could be causing it. xrSound.dll is found in both the games bin folder and the mods bin folder. I've looked around and I have not (yet) found anyone else who has had this problem, so I'm hoping someone here could maybe help me out.

Nah this is just a referb ThinkCenter M92p I got on amazon lol. Was going to do a custom build but didn't feel like spending that much money. Its decent for the price though, dont care much about having the best graphics.

Hello, I've been having a problem and I cant seem to figure out how to fix it. It seems that using addons is the problem, but its not specific to the addon as any one of them prevents the game from opening. This is my log file:

I should also say that I am using the version of the addons that are supposed to be for 1.5 R6, and it works for others so I am confused as to why it wont work for me.

I think I have fixed my problem. The installer ran fine but created folders and put no actual files in them. So during a re-installation I noticed that it created a zip that it was extracting from, I just copied the files from that into my SS folder and now it seems to be working as intended.

Has anyone else had the issue of the installer not installing files but just folders? I feel it may be tied to my OS, I'm running XP sp3

edit: Nevermind, its not finishing the extraction my way either. Says system cannot allocate memory or there isnt enough space. I guess I do require some help.

CoC + A0 has been making my computer restart. Does any else have this problem? Is some way I could just keep vanilla textures and stuff but also have weapons and ballistics?

1.3.3RC2 fixes the aggro Bandit problem in the storage containers. But some bandits are still pointing gun at me and telling me to leave. Wont have any dialog other than telling me to leave. Also building in the back is apparently not save for blowout? Even though everyone else seemed to be fine. I know this is a beta patch but hopefully by release there are also trader in there. Thanks.

Playing as Bandit. In Jupiter at the storage containers, a bandit base. Yet as soon as I had entered I was shot to hell. Anyway I could change this? Possibly in the files? Wouldn't like to have to travel all the way back to Dark Valley just to get quests and sell loot.

So there is no known fix for this? Shame. Graphics are at minimum and still having problem. Was told loading using dx8 lighting had problems so I set it to dx9 Object Dynamic Lighting. don't know how to set it back. But I'll try the AtmosFear settings. Thanks

It has happened in Cordon, Dark Valley, Bar, and Wild Territory. Only places I have been so far. Really enjoy the mod but having CTD every time I die is starting to put me off. I have minimum ram settings and am overclocking memory clock offset. I could lower my settings but they are already pretty darn low.

I have a loading issue I believe. Loads just fine first time. But if I die and have to load after that. It crashes instantly.

Downloaded the installer and all the parts along with it. When I start the installer up and after I choose "English" as language. It tells me that it does not support my version of windows. Did I download wrong version of mod? I have Vista x32bit. Didn't know this would be a problem. Could it be because I have mod already installed on CoP? I figured this was standalone but would love the help anyways.
