GOOD: I love Endurium being radioactive, it makes much more sense. More power needed is a good touch as well.

BAD: maybe I'm too used to the old textures, but ores stick out way too much now - I liked how the non-ore part of the block used to match the surrounding basalt. They also look like a large cat stepped in paint and walked all over the walls.

MIXED: The other new textures are fine, though darker / less contrast than they used to be. I kinda miss the borders of the helmet - especially since the GUI elements still bob. I thought the helmet detail was immersive yet not obstructive.

Overall this is one hell of a great update!

And another issue you might already know about: If I play windowed, go into and exit Options, the game goes fullscreen.

Just had a game where I started encountering "bright" areas - it's as if someone cranked up the gamma correction when I stepped into the area, to the point where braziers (and my own torch against the wall) just bleed everything bright white. In the same game I found an area that was dark, but lit up when I stepped into it. I can provide screenshots if you're interested.

The chest/items interface looks very clunky - for the nature of the game perhaps it would be better if you just clicked on the chest, which would then pop open and some 2d item sprites would pop out, auto picking up. Then you could retain the interface UI for manipulating items.

Otherwise, I like the look/feel of the game/engine and I'm looking forward to see where it goes...

Some sort of scoring would be great - distance traveled from start, time survived, monsters killed, chests opened, etc. possibly with some sort of stats screen available.
