Dwarf Fortress is way to inaccesable for most people, Bay 12 games is way to attached to their crappy interface. This game at least tries to have a decent mouse based ui and it looks pretty good so far!

Troubled, you are! There have only been two editor's choice awards so far and Amnesia doesn't fit both of them. It doesn't have original art or is that innovative.
Then again this is an oppinion like henley said. Metascores have nothing to do with these awards and are very unrepresentative.

Bots are fine, only there has to be a tag or server tab to differentiate them from the normal servers.
Blocking them will only lead to bots who are seperate clients, thus not being able to tell if there are bots in a server.

Why don't you team up with someone to make these chambers into real portal levels?
Or learn hammer yourself, it's certainly one of the easier tools to learn.

You're saying 25%, but also take in account the cut a publisher or distribution platform takes. In the end you get a lot less, but then again, buying the engine is less profitable.
Don't be discouraged, just make it and then we'll decide if we like it or not.
To anyone who's bashing the idea: If you're discouriging every new modder or bashing every new mod. Then there won't be any mods left. Grow up!!
Give some constructive critisism, not just: oh noes, not another zombie mod.
Most mod ideas are "stolen", does that matter? No!
Marble madness, Switchball, Balance they all have the same concept, so why can't we have another who does the same thing, in mod format.

Looks pretty good, only the positioning of the particles(at the gun) need some work. Other then that, keep up the good work!
Ok, played it, its awesome.
Some points of critique though: I couldn't get out of the car, when I press e the animation plays(of getting out) but then I cannot move, and I am still controlling the car(only through glitching my way out, I managed to finish it).
There is also a bug when I quicksaved before the sequence where the antlion is supposed to die, but the apc never came.
Locking the antlionguards in their cages was a bit too hard(random flinging) and controlling the car was kind of annoying.
Still, it was pretty fun!
For SP, you could do something like weapon restrictions(stun only) or maybe not getting detected(stealth).
Looks good btw! Maybe make the floor a bit brighter or a diffent color, I ofcourse don't know how it looks ingame but it seems pretty dark.

This game is nice, are you going to include height differences, stationary targets, maybe vehicles?
Hostage rescue missions? Bomb defusal?
Or playing as the bad guys and planning a heist and/or taking hostages:)

Awesome, and how about some physics based weapons, like flails or just chains.
