wow, you sound entitled as ****
you're being given entertainment and content for free, and instead of simply saying that there's an issue with ATI hardware for this specific game and asking for an estimation for a fix, you instead scream like an impatient baby

I have ATI hardware as well, but god damn, I ******* hate pricks like you

This mod has some serious logic problems. Example:

You play as a trained military man. (no problem with that)
You start out without any additional ammunition (let's send one of our military guys without any ammunition! He's hardcore and ****!)
You need to eat every 15 minutes
You get tired from running 100 meters (trained military, gets tired from running 100 meters. What?)

Really? ******* really? The logic flaws in this mod are ******* terrific!

Before you vote me down and call me an idiot, etc. just think about how ******* stupid this is.

If the mod is supposed to be this hard because it's "hardcore", then it's done wrong.

You can rename DOOM3.exe to something like DOOM 3.exe and it would fix it, but after that, the effects won't work properly either (artefacts everywhere). At least, that's what it is like for me.

P.S. I have an ATI HD 6950 video card.

I did as you instructed, but there are still artefacts whenever I turn on any of those effects.

Here's how my ATI settings look like:
AA - use application settings
AF - use application settings
AI - set to performance (there is no "off" option) and "Enable Surface Format Optimization" is turned off as well.
AA mode is set to "Multi-sample AA" which is as low as possible.
In OpenGL settings, I've turned tripple buffering off.

No idea what's causing the artefacts. First Gothic 3 didn't work properly, now Doom 3 with your mod. I'm starting to get slightly dissapointed with ATI. :/

It's good to see that people still make such modifications for good old games like Doom 3. Although, I'm a bit sad due to the fact that I can't try it out because I have an ATI HD 6950 video card. I re-named DOOM3.exe to DOOM 3.exe and turned ATI AI off, but here's a list of stuff that doesn't work:

- SSAO
- SSIL
- Soft shadows
- Motion blur
- Sun shafts
- DoF doesn't seem to work properly either.

If you can, please, add support for ATI video cards in version 1.2.
