i seem to be having truble downloading from filefront i get half way then says compleate....

hey guys first up GREAT mod i am a BIG stargate fan... ithink i have now got 93 dvds an a few other bits... but i got this game soly for playing this mod but i cant get it to run i have places the files into mod file an then placed all the update files in to it as well but i get a error says that file .....engine/mod_efx particle is not defined

hmm i have found a few parts in this mod that seem to crash out me out of game now.... kinda **** me of now.... 3 times i start to get goin get few planets an get nice fleet goin an BAM crashed to windows...lol

an all was i forget to save i keep saying to self ok after this battel save.... ok realy afer this one then... may be next 1 i should an just never get around to it till it drops out an restart i must

spino u are gold mate just copyed all across an we works not sure is eaw will still work as a lot of there files are now gone but who cares about that stargate is working that all i care about now BRING ON THE RUM AN GAME NITE

hmmm strange that it put the stargate mod in to a comlpty dif file to any of the otehr eaw stuff all teh stargate is in

C:\Program Files\lucas arts\petroglyph\star wars - empire at war\GameData

but all the eaw files are in here

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData

ok so i have tryed an i have 1.05.(something) then i opened
C:\Program Files\lucas arts\petroglyph\star wars - empire at war\GameData

witch is where i have found the stargate ms batch dos file tryed to open it with duble click starts to open balck screen an then just goes back to to where i just was

ok so i have played this b4 but for some reson i have got new comp an tryin ot get this to work agean but when i try to install the 1.5 update to starwars it tells me to reinstall eaw an try agean after teh 3rd time i am kinda getin sick of doin that any one had this problem b4??????...

PS yes i ahve a realy copy of the game

ummm ok so i have just downloaded the game an started it no wrys BUT.... it is all in german(an yes i downloaded the English verson) is there an other way to change the text on it????

theo101 read the top it tells u that u need 1.4 to play..

"You can also use previous maps to play with this version like the map packl from 1.1 patch. Just note that you need the farcry 1.4 patch to play this online."

one of the best if not the best mod i have played for halflife 2 GREAT maps great story line.. is bit creepy as well.. well worth a try

i have always like the dune movies an i think this might be a good game when u finish it will track it an will definitely have a go when done good luck
