I usually just lurk around without commenting, but i had to drop in to say **** all the instant gratification society-bred whiners who have the balls to complain and demand something they pay nothing for. You unfollowed the mod? Wow, what a blow below the waist. When they say the current generation is spoiled beyond hope, they mean you. You'd probably commit suicide if you suffered an electricity outage or had to survive a night in your mom's backyard. Life will eventually teach you manners.

Hats off to the developers, for everything you're doing. Nothing more to add.

I upgraded my box recently too, should run this just nicely now. So far this year has been **** for PC gaming. Let's fix that.

Well, i would have thought people would see all the overstatements in that post, but since that's not the case; Yes, it would be very stupid to take all the stuff out. Also, i don't see the clouds either after any amount of shots, but i sure as hell aren't looking at the enemy i just shot at either, anymore. Which, for me personally, sucks ***.

It's up to each player to determine what is acceptable in their fantasy games, if you like your weapons to be 100% real-like so you can shoot fanatical soldiers worshipping a crystal in a radiated world where invisible blood-sucking creatures jump you in the dark, it's nobodys place to say that's wrong. :)

I'm understandably disappointed with this, i waited for LURK for half an eternity (another overstatement, but many months actually) and got no sun, no moon, insane recoil, pixelated sky, inconsistent distance views (they rotate with time btw, you get to look at the NPP south of Cordon at times), no hunger, no sleeping bag, useless artifacts, incorrect quest rewards (selling Jellyfish nets me more cash than doing the quest), and yadda yadda bla bla nobody really gives a ****.

And you know what? You're not supposed to. This is your mod, just don't expect everyone to like it. That doesn't mean you, Tim, but the dev team.

I'm done here, my time is no doubt better spent with SC2009. Best of luck to the LURK team.

Too much realism kills a game. Want to make Stalker realistic? Remove mutants. No such things in the real Zone, slightly mutated genes in some but the pigs sure as **** don't look like they do in Stalker. Also remove every faction except military. Only they guard the real NPP. Artifacts already lost their meaning with LURK which is lame as ****, but you should remove them altogether to create a further sense of realism. Oh, and even a high dose of radiation doesn't kill you in a minute, isn't it unrealistic to walk into a pocket of radiation and drop dead unless you have a bottle of... vodka on you?!

You get the point. It's just not FUN finding yourself watching the clouds after a few shots, no matter how realistic. Also i have to mention you did an absolutely fantastic job with the weapons, really. They're interesting, realistic and just cool now. But my opening sentence is also my closing sentence; too much realism has no place in a game, it's A G.A.M.E. after all.
