Hey man thanks for continuing this mod and putting all this extra stuff in an already great mod, I was bummed you took out the mercs tho I really like RPing as a bandit and now I can only pull that off with faction troops which kinda defeats the purpose. I'd appreciate it if you could put them back in, or just put the resources for them at the end so we can make them with morgph's editor. Thnx man

Side note, your taste in music is too excellent. My party was once mobbed and devoured by a supercluster of zombies because I was jamming out too hard on a supply run and didn't see them come out of the woods lol.

In large battles with aryans and confederates my character gets almost instantly smoked, with no apparent cause; no bullets, explosions, gas clouds.... even when i'm in cover my character just falls over.

I'm finding this one bug makes an otherwise great mod impossible to enjoy, so i'm asking if anyone has found ways to avoid this, either via ingame tactics or messing with settings. Don't even care if it's immersion-breaking, just want to be in a battle longer than 10 seconds.

Also automatic weapons not actually automatic? or is there a switch you have to toggle?

Great mod, but i'm sure you already know this.

One weird glitch; the foggy area between the riverlands and the north is very difficult to pass through in terms of clicking and moving, most spots you click on the character won't move (playing with fog of war enabled). This wouldn't be a problem except that the north npcs have the same difficulty; they get in a big war party, make like they're going to invade the westerlands, then stop right at the edge of that fog like "welp nothin we can do about this fog, not like we can go through it or anything."

So yeah. I'm 20 days in and every lord of the north is stuck in a massive raiding party at the north edge of the fog while the riverlands get smashed by themselves. any ideas of how to free them up, preferably without starting a new game?

Actually it's super easy to change in the editor, the templates are already there they just got changed around. took me all of about 10 seconds once i figured it out.

No senpai I mean in Gekokujo one of the troop progressions for male peasants went Hired Warrior -> Veteran Hired Warrior and when they became badass enough you could upgrade them to Shihei which were jacked thugs in light armor with severed heads tied to their belt and seodoichis which are the swords that are too big to even block but crush through opponents blocks and do massive damage so they were great in melee combat but you had to protect them from archers and gunners.

Now the Veteran Warriors only upgrade to shokugen kasegi (which used to be an option for shinobi to become instead of a ninja) which are cool troops I guess but they aren't greatsword-wielding maniacs which i feel is an essential part to all sword combat games especially if you like role-playing as a bandit warlord :3

I guess I'll make some custom ones with the troop editor but I've never modded before and am probably going to f*** it up so if you could add them in the next update that would be swell

Thanks for continuing this mod! It's my favorite mod so it's good to know someone is continuing the legacy of awesomeness.

I like that i can equip shihei armor in the cheatmenu now too. but.... where are the shihei troops??? can u not train them from peasants anymore???? They were my favorite if you took them out for some reason please bring them back x(

You could make the modern weapons have high rof and better accuracy but you could take some of the damage off so it takes 2-3 shots to kill grunts and a good half clip for anything larger. would add more diversity to firearm troops

You could make spells more OP too but have staffs be single shot and have the reload time take a few seconds for "casting" the next spell, also have pretty spare ammo; 10 rounds for minor spells and 4 or so for major spells. Think sparkly grenade launchers.

Awesome Mod, only missing a few points for myriad of little issues, some unfortunatly gamebreaking in different scenarios.

1. Modern Shotgun shoots high and to the left, makes heavy armed man useless as troop and kinda scraps the whole spec ops faction as playable or to be taken seriously as enemies. Other guns have very poor accuracy and weak bullet velocity, most guns just feel like anorexic crossbows.
2. Balance between factions is pretty skewed, particularly Fantasy Magiocracy is OP. Human factions should be stronger, more internally diverse, and have higher level troops that can cope with council mages. Pirate Hunters and Cyborgs are OP as well, should strengthen other factions to match.
3. Lots of copy paste. Wish more items and armor had little visual tweaks so it at least felt more original and not like a mish mash of other mods.

A few other original options non-functioning but those were the only two that caused problems for me.

Again great mod, particularly loving playing as a cyborg trying to eradicate the fantasy magiocracy and then assimilate the surrounding human kingdoms.

P.S. I think if you made the weimar reich more like a blend between the Kislev faction in Warsword the German faction in the Parabellum mod, upped the steampunk-ness of the morloks (motorcycles instead of horses, more metal armor, etc.) and threw in some dwarven engineers (ranged and shock troops) it would vastly improve those two factions and allow them to go toe to toe with the fantasy magiocracy.
