For me you can't beat STALKER. I have tried pretty much every game out there but have found none that put me where this game does. I start playing and get lost in a world that can be both beautiful and terrifying. I remember my first visit to the Yantar lab in SHOC. It was in the early hours of the morning, I was using headphones while sneaking around the lab. The atmosphere had me on the edge of my seat. Ten seconds later something totally unexpected happened and put my heart in my mouth. I paused the game, shaking like a little child and from that moment on for me it has been the stick by which all games are measured. And sadly they just don't measure up. STALKER is a thousand games in one. Set in a constantly changing, evolving world. The only time any two playthroughs are the same is when you hit that ENTER THE ZONE button at the start of the game.
Some examples being used in Strelok's story.
I love that model!
Me too, It looks great and it is nicely made aswell.
I like this one too. Only thing is that the right leg the texture around boot seems weird.
Yeah I can see that now, at the top of the boot it looks like theres a bit of uniform missing, overall it's well done though, I wish I had the talent.
Should render the torso part of the model in a modeling program and then make this outfit wearable:)
If you can do that and let me have it for use it would be great. I thought about using it but it'd need a vanilla part at the moment. That is one reason why I don't use a lot of the outfits that are available. I tested one outfit mod but most the suits used a vanilla sunrise mesh when thrown on the ground, That puts me of them. I've got a selection of outfits but if your able to I could also do with a few conversions from vanilla meshes.
Think about it, There's a green eco, monolith eco and Duty version all in the vanilla files. If they had this done for them there would be three outfits converted and we would not need to add complete whole sets from the Russian community. Adding less textures and meshes is a good thing for size and performance, especially if your already adding 3 or 4 gb of new levels. While I remember to ask how's it going with that exo?
The inventory meshes of outfits doesn't really bother me but the inventory icon does. If you send me a bunch of models that you had this problem with I'll make some icons and learn how to do inventory meshes, I've never rigged that kind of model but I can try. Also yeah I completely forgot about the exo, I'll do all the models in one go when I get the chance. Cheers:)
