You can see the glow of these fires at night, bit like a welcome beacon.
Fox here seems pretty handy at disposing blind dogs, but probably safer to sleep in the roof of the next building :)
The glows of camp fires is easy to adjust, the parameters for them are in the all.spawn but all of them are set to 0.0 for some odd reason. Theres a few fires that still won't emit light after the all.spawn editing but they are easy fixes too. Only thing that annoys me I know there are no fixes for are the horrible static shadows that appear. I've hoodwinked those shadows so they look a little more dynamic and have edges that aren't anywhere near as hard, but they still look like poo.
A weird limitation yes. For some reason the devs thought it a good idea to use static shadows instead of dynamic shadows even when full dynamic lighting is enabled :/
Love the lightning of the fire at night. Has something comfortable. Even if this is the place where the dogs get you :)

Indeed, safe places in the zone are always on roofs or in higher building...
The dogs spawns everytime here I think. But yes, good to have Fox there.
And the little house there is a shelter against Blowouts.
The fire glow is one of the great graphical and shader features. PP will make this more enjoyable.

Limitations of the engine?
