S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , tried but never found a better game.
The only real forest region in STALKER, and I'm ashamed that I have to admit I never fully explored it...these bloodsuckers and PSY-dogs were a bit too much.
I just hit demo_record to get these, shame on me also :D
