Yeah.....still not quite right, trying to give it a post-apocalyptic look and yet still be believable if that makes any sense. Got a feeling this might take some time :)
Stalker is a tricky game to texture for, you'll end up spending a long time doing it, trust me on that ;) Everybody has a image in their own head of what they want Stalker to look like, so my advice would be to get that image clear in your own mind and just go for it. You can't please everybody so just create something YOU like and would want to play.
That very thought had dawned on me the other day, so far my messing with just the sky has brought home how different people see the game. The feedback and advice I have had has been fantastic and really encouraging, but like you say, it's also important to keep to the original goal/ideal that was first set out to be achieved. Luckily having only given myself a very loose set ideas and aiming to only work on the atmosphere to begin with I do give myself a little slack, but the mental picture of what I would like to achieve is pretty well fixed.
Hmmm sorry, long rambling answer, but yes ket, i agree, what would I like to see/play and aim for that.
Thanks man :)
Cool, almost peaceful lol :D
