Looking for a new mod to enjoy (getting a bit tired of doing the same all the time), so a download link for the lazy fellows like me would be greatly appreciated :D

And of course it's a great screen again, dave! :D

Thanks. Ok this is going to get a bit complex, so I will break things down into 3 replies :D

Here is where you get the mod:

Part 2. How to set the mod up, this advice was given on the GSC Forum by bdoomed:
1) lauch COP without any mod installed (it's for have a fresh user.ltx)
if you have already a stalker-call of pripyat folder in your docs,
delete it

2) you must run the exe TWO times, first time you choose between
atmosfear or SWTC (but don't 'mark' the shocker mod option)

3) then you run the exe again with the Socker mod marked,
so the mod is installed properly on the weather mod

The mod is lauched by a shortcut on the desktop or by the host.exe
in the bin

There's a readme with many possible issues for the install,
this method was good for me

Part 3. This was my comment on the GSC Forum as a workaround to a problem I hit:
I followed instructions as given by bdoomed, I went for the SWTC option, the game launched but the sky was all wrong, just an orange glow. I checked in the gamedata folder, there was no sky texture so I copied all the SWTC textures and merged them in. Result is it works, but it's a resource hog, got some lag. looks great though:

I forgot to mention the SWTC textures I already had on my pc, it might be as easy to go with Atmosfear, if not I can send you SWTC textures if they are missing for you.

Later, I still have my trouble here :D One question: Which of the two downloads on the moddb do I have to choose?

This one:

Moddb.com

There appears to be some missing textures, I am working through them, I will let you know how I get on.

Description

Using the SWTC option, this is a bit fiddley to install, more info shortly.

EDIT: Well some hours after the original apparent success, I seem to have hit a brick wall with any amount of CTD's. After further talks with helpful folks over at GSC Forums, it seems that this requires you to use 7zip not winrar which I used. I am going back to square one with this, a fresh install of CoP and then unzipping with 7 zip. We shall see how this goes, I want this to work now :D
