So I have a question - even though we're told this is a prequel, will there be any answers to Red's story in Necrologue? We never got any closure to his narrative, he was just back and then couldn't talk to Philip anymore once he went in the tomb. Everyone else got a complete story, so why not Red?

Eagerly awaiting ANY news on this. Necrologue was arguably better than the original games and I cannot wait to see what CounterCurrent does next!

Hey I don't know if this will work but there is a Unity project called "Terror Engine" form the creators of Slendytubbies. Terror Engine is supposed to be a "make your own horror game" type of software and it stole Mark Slender from Haunted Memories. You might be able to get his model out of the download for Terror Engine:

Also what was the song used for ambience in the landlord's mansion? I am sure it was in the credits but I don't think I saw it lol. It's a beautiful song though I'd love to know what it is.

Just finished, what a blast! I am sad it's over though. One question I have is that in one of the mansions you find the bartender's body which made me really sad, but in the end Grunte is back. Who'd you find in the mansion?

I'd actually be willing to donate to getting your fee paid, maybe you could make a blog post asking people if they'd be willing to contribute to a kickstarter campaign? I know those can be bitches but it's 90 euros total so I think you could make it

Yeah that's all good, don't forget Dark Case because that one is AMAZING as well. Penumbra Necrologue is on Steam and requires Amnesia for installation so I don't think that would be a problem. Speaking of Dark Case, do you ever think you'd make an indirect sequel to it? I remember it said in the credits "No one was ever used as a specimen again...at least not in that facility". I really loved Dark Case and its Penumbra inspired environments.

I really cannot express how amazing this mod is. I am only in Chapter 5 or 6 but this is already my favorite Amnesia mod ever, dethroning my previous favorite Dark Case. The gameplay and overall structure is unlike anything I've ever seen in an Amnesia mod as is the extremely generous gameplay length. The puzzles are incredibly well designed and the scarcity of the monster encounters makes them far more frightening than most Amnesia mods, or dare I say, the core game. The enemies themselves are also very interesting, I love seeing the Penumbra dogs since they work much differently than the typical humanoid enemy and that makes them more interesting to encounter. Additionally the story integration of your first mod Alma was most unexpected and satisfying! That was one of my favorite mods as well and I am glad to see Alma is getting more story, I always wondered what happened to her after her chapter.

One thing I am curious about is Alma's father. Originally he was a Grunt but now he's a Gasmask monster? Maybe this was done to keep people from confusing him with Grunte and La Grunta. I also find it confusing from a story standpoint for this to reference the original Amnesia storyline in the library section where "the orb from Brennenburg" is seen as a model on display. If that is so, why is there a Brute running around in the midst of all this chaos? As far as I know the Brutes were just Alexander's henchmen like the Grunts in the original so having one work with the Or hunting expedition seems odd.

Regardless this mod is fantastic and I have already played many hours of it! I love the store mechanic in particular. The whole thing reminds me of the old Harry Potter adventure games I played as a kid, and I thank you for bringing back those fond memories while giving us not just a solid Amnesia mod but a fantastic adventure game in its own right. One more thing - you should seriously consider putting this and your other mods on Steam Greenlight, mods as good as this and Dark Case are truly works of art that must be preserved.

Hey to the uploader: could you upload this and the other OP4 mods in their "Gearbox" folders instead of .pak files so that Mac users can play as well? Thanks

Yeah every time I get to the door at the end of the first map there's a brief loading screen and then the game crashes, also trying to save after picking up the key on the gate will crash the game

Okay so I just have to say AMAZING JOB, and keep in mind I really loved the original Haunt: The Real Slender Game. I always wanted to play Ep2 but it was taken off Steam before I got the chance so it's really great being able to play this now. The little details like the original ambience and pictures from Haunt scattered around are a really nice touch and improved the experience a whole lot. That being said I have run into some game breaking bugs so far, such as:
- Game crashes when I try to enter the second map
- Game crashes when I try to use the typewriter after picking up the axe
- The sides of the skybox aren't in order, it looks really glitched

Just a suggestion for v1.1, would it be possible to add the original Grunt music in? It's just a little bit distracting as a long time Amnesia player to hear him have the Wretch theme instead

I have found the Wretch music loop can be solved by reloading the game before it happened for anyone who is having the same problem
