Mega worked for me, but where can I find the basic version of AA?
I run on a potato so I am very limited (not mentally thankfully), so I was able to see that the game completely runs out of memory.
Even tho I think some of the weapons (such as FAR15) are farfetched from realistic deployment in the zone, I have to say one thing:

What you did here is amazing. I absolutely love the overhaul on hands and sleeves. I just love how the Freedom flecktarn looks with the tactical/softshell style jacket sleeves.
Overall, 10/10 on the effort of the work and implementation. I still dislike some of the unrealistic weapons (black market is limited in eastern europe and mostly keeps warsaw pact or pre 90s NATO weapons), but I absolutely love it!

You should make it the dull khaki bricks that the rest has, this makes it look minecraft like.
Give it some aging, some wear, some better looking shadows?
I'm downloading the mod right now, and I will be working on a few different textures for this. I got seamless resources of all camos present in the pics you linked (KLMK, VSR, Partizan and Smog+Les vest) so I can make a variation of that as well if you want.
I will personally focus on Partizan oversuit and Gorka E in olive/khaki, khaki/brown and SS Leto. If you want anything else done, you can link me pictures.
I asked because Spetsnaz is very specific, and have gear only they are allowed to use, produced mostly by SPOSN, SRRV, ANA, Rex and Splav.
I mean, if they dont use Spetsnaz gear (apart from Altyn helmets), why name it Spetsnaz?
What camo are they even using? Doesn't look like Gorka suits, and it doesn't look like Kamysh camo.
Well, Soviet secrets always work. Now, if you do Yugoslav secrets, that'd be something! The island of Vis in Croatia has been hollowed out almost, a submarine bunker encircling the whole island from inside, enterable from Rogacic port.
It was never fully operational nor finished as laws of nature have crushed the socialist stubbornness. Half of the bunker is apparently flooded, and going in further is almost impossible since police refuses to let people in. Possibility of air contamination (deadly gas) or so.
Just throwing an idea.
Aww man. I think most of the hype I had about this project was Daemonion's sound projects and Millenia's weapon projects. You guys really did have a unique take on this game.
Is there any possibility in what you have made so far is in a playable state? (If you will not continue further on the mod at all?)
Good work, albeit that may be a bit too much ACU. Not every pouch and tape get in camo, perhaps keep the original vests if you wish to make them more SWAT like, or give the vests some greenish blue color mixed with ACU that matches the ACU's color like the soldiers have.
It's a dissapointment to see it come to this in a way, the modding is dieing out now on a scale larger than it should be. I was personally hoping to see modding going on for RO2 as the game itself has a really good potential, way bigger than Call of Duty 2 for it's time.
But then there's the thing about the modding of RO2 which I understand fully, it's a pain in the *** more or less from what I have seen, and if Unreal Engine 4 will ease it up, it's for the best to transcend to that.

M4A1 shouldn't really be, gun laws prohibit all automatic and most semi automatic weapons in these parts, but M16A2 appears a lot on black market since it is quite outdated. I doubt M4A1 would appear, it is quite hard to find even illegally.

Eh, it's a lazy job (by the gun user who did it) when you think of it. You could make the sawn off piece on the stock lighter, non polished wood so it looks and feels more amateur, since sandpaper might as well be the only available thing to touch it up with.
My dad's sawn off Zastava O/U shotgun has that bit removed as well, so that's the reason I asked.
Could you take off the remaining part of the stock so only the "pistol" grip is left? :P
Yeah, I think only pronouncing the ring and making the opacity of shadow around it to be gradient, aka, strong around the ring, fading as it gets away from it, to give that feel of optics.
You could make it like this, like Gnomus did with his scopes. Take a picture of a high detail version of the model, clear out the background and use it on the scope texture. It works rather well, too. But not exactly like this one pictured, it should be the same size (the reticle), but with the scope around it, so it looks like a real 3d model, but zoomed in further. Saves some troubles and looks good.
I just love this! I cannot believe how real and detailed the weapons are now. You could maybe make it seem like a 3d scope, but with a 2d texture with blank space around the 2d texture? So it's traditional style with zoom, but more real like?
It's been a while since I checked Moddb, and I can say I am really surprised! This is amazing work Martin!
It is a great game, but it just doesn't feel like it got out of early acess, if compared to DayZ for example, which is still in it's early alpha stages and still provides a very satisfactory feel.
But Contagion is going great so far, so I wish you good luck with the budget!
And just a question. Will you ever add a customizable character? Or will it remain in selectable ones? I am just asking as it seems perhaps easier to spend a bit more time on making different variations for male and female characters, human or zombie, to make a very randomized hordes or make the survivors a bit more individual.
And will there ever be a larger city map to survive on? Would be great because Contagion is realistic compared to most zombie games, like L4D, but lacks the size and exploration.
They are a part of the texture and have their lightmap for glow.
Would be nice to see new maps, any possibility of that or, even better, of modding and mapping tools being supported?
You should save the whole Titanic as a model in one so it can be used in other games possibly because this is the most amazingly accurate and detailed model anyone has ever made, especially since nobody else made the every single interior and tank before!
Peak tanks (be it stern or aft ones) can be used for fresh water storage or as ballast water tanks for balance.

I've been following this for a bit, happy that I bought it now and I can't wait for player made content! I hope we will have a choice selecting between a male or a female character, then having to customize it. Maybe putting random clothing spawns, so you can pick it up and use it to dress up. Maybe even make the clothes tradable or something?
This mod is full of pleasant surprises and well made levels from both screenshots and gameplay videos. Not to mention how the use of Dharma makes me interested in it more!

You made good points here, I understand the stress. But hey, little variations wouldn't hurt. If STALKER was as moddable as Fallout 3/NV, I'd make each uniform randomly wear patches of Factions, as these aren't highly organised factions, and they don't really have that much suits who look all the same.
If so, then why do the MP skins for Mecenaries have British SAS, German Commando, US Soldier and French NATO soldier? Those are part of the original game.
I understand what you mean, but adding a little variation wouldn't hurt. Those are loners, they aren't part of any faction. Those are mostly ex soldiers, or an opportunists who take any kind of gear they find, no matter what insignia is on. Most STALKERS are Russian, then why didn't the Ukraine turn against Russia?
Also, remember CoP, you can get G36 from Nimble that was used by ex - UN soldiers who died in the Zone. How did he knew they were UN? Insignia. They wore patches. Everyone knew they were UN before. That still doesn't mean they are a part of UN, just because they have the insignia.
The Punks is just a matter of fashion. In terms of politics, Ukraine's Govt' has no supervision over zone, and if they find a stalker with a country's flag patch, they can't do a thing, as they will expose the Zone to the world, and just because he has that country's flag, that doesn't mean he is a soldier, it may only mean he comes from there and wanted his nationality shown.
