I really like what this "storyline" implies... I'm to assume the player is controlling the bodies of these people to get them out of harm's way? That puts a pretty good and quasi-believable twist on the "survival" genre! (And a little influenced by the SAW movies, perhaps? ;))

Shortly put, PARANOIA rivals STALKER.

In more words, the Paranoia Team went above and beyond enhancing Half-Life's features in every way to create a wonderful and extensive mod. On my first movements in it, I was noticing just how many details were included.

The props: extensive.
The textures: photorealistic.
The character sentences: plenty.
The captions: all-inclusive.
The environment: immersive.
The layouts: realistic.
The tasks: clear.

I am truly impressed. The best single-player mod ever made for Half-Life, if not the best single-player mod ever made. (But honestly I haven't played many single-player mods, so I'm afraid to assure that last one so soon.)

Black Mesa is indeed nice, but PARANOIA's release yesterday works wonders!

The fingers admittedly are not perfectly aligned. The hand was designed to be in a fist, and thus appears slightly distorted when extended straight. But seriously, would you notice in-game? :-P

Quite attractive...except for the tires.

The rock behind the Mammoth Tank dwarfs it.
It makes it look smaller than the gargantuan tank it is.

Does anyone know whether the vehicles in this game will be coded a little bit more uniquely than the identical helicopters/planes in BF2? IMHO, the Hind should be able to carry a couple of passengers (like in reality. It makes the chopper as unique as it is). Likewise, the Eurocopter should be somewhat more maneuverable.
