Very nice designs, I like them very much.
wow
Lol - A walrus vs a Trieme, the freaking Trieme wouldn't even see it :D
Personally, I would swap the names of the Makon and Hammerhead!
Lmao, basicly attacking a trieme is pointless unless you got another trieme or two against it xD ... heh, kinda a nice mini feature in a way, i mean being able to calmly sail the space withouth being attacked or under threat all the time like in smaller craft.
i'm just curious, are there going to be rotating cannons? or are the ships goin to magically rotate toward lookin at their enemies?
yes to the former....or whichever is more logical, scientifically and practical...
wow.. that's like just wow! the size is too overwhelming.
I hope that each ship class has a fair advantage...kinda not a real war if 1 trieme can take down a whole fleet of half sized ships since it's...guns have a damage of 46 per shot, .. in otherwords i hope this wont be too mmorpg'ish like EVE.. a fighter squadron would do significant damage to a ship like that if it's got a good pilot in it....also i hope fighters will have inside-hud views..would be MUCH more fun to fly then...
the manitou looks a lot like the y-wing...
:O
The Trleme looks like it is focused on attacking what is in front of it. If nessesary ramming anything in front of it.
While I cannot see any turrets or cannons on it's flanks I do believe there are some. But Again, judging from the plow and the - if I might say - array of the (HUGE) cannons - where the fighters/shuttles and maybe a shark or hammerhead can fly into - pointing forward, it would propably be weak on the flank and bow and bottom.
Can't wait to try out small fighters tactics and even small/medium ship tactics...
Would I be correct if I assume that small fighters can actually fly close enough to damage critical/semi-critical subsystems...? I.e. like damaging the bridge resulting in hampered maneuverability (tough word) or even loss of control?
