One of the tools within Mod Maker automates the production of patch archives of the mods game folder.
It cleans up all the temporary and user-specific files first then zips up anything that changed since the last archive.
I've been using this to compile the alpha patches for Exterminatus, so I don't have to manually keep track of every file change.
