I can guess; most mods for RA3 that were either moved or canceled were done so due to the atrocious nature of RA3's mod-ability. In other words, you can't mod RA3 easily. Modding AI in RA3 is nigh impossible, there's no (traditional) ore mechanic (tho a few mods have successfully put it back in with limited success), and there's almost no support from EA (they literally disowned RA3). I myself have had many issues just running RA3, while C&C3 is by far the more stable (and moddable).
Can any team members confirm whether or not this might be the case?
Looks great so far, very much like RA2. I agree that it's currently too bright and the textures need work, but I understand this is not a final product yet. Keep up the good work!

if you want 1920 by 1080 resolution, modify your options.ini in notepad; it's not that hard

Eh, I bet there will be variants to this, like a Dr. Thrax version that drops a mini anthrax bomb, or one with a generic bomb for the Demo gen.
Still, it does seem a bit...much, since Deathstrike already has the Hip gunships, which can already take anything out if you get enough of them together and set the firing mode on max. I'm still happy to see the GLA get some more aircraft, though; China and USA are such hogs with that :P

I've made a few personal mods before, nothing big; some character skins for JK3, maps for the SAGE engine (Zero Hour and Tiberium Wars specifically). Making maps is a lot of fun for me, especially, tho I'm in no way a pro at it yet. I'm thinking about posting stuff here as I work on it. Who knows, others might like it too. I'm currently writing the design document for and creating a prototype engine of my game idea, "Codename Vast". Generally speaking, it will be an MMORPG.
