Not even with the assembly kit? I read somewhere that is gives you plug-in for 3ds to allow you to insert your won models into the game.
As i said i read this, never tried it tho since I'm not a modder and anyway not that good with 3ds.

I just want to say: THANK YOU to KK and everyone n the mod team for bringin us masterpiece. Still haven't playes it and i'm sure some minor bugs will come out (commercial products sometimes have so many bugs that makes you wonder if they ever went thru a beta test...it's just part of the natural develop of a piece of software)and there will be plenty of time to talk about it and fix them, but not now.
NOW IT'S JUST TIME TO CELEBRATE!

I guess they might be uploading it on different servers and editing instructions on how to install it and so on... might take another couple of days...might be ready for the weekend???

Well if i had to judge the state of the mod from that video i would say it's almost ready. If it comes out for Christmas i'm gonna call myself sick at work and just play this till the new year comes lol

RAM doesn't cost much right now...video card is a different story but it also depends on what kind of card you get and to play M2TW you don't need a card that is really expensive. any of the actual entry level card is good enough to paly m2tw and sure way way better then the intel card.

I would suggest you to change your graphic card and add at least another GB of ram. When you upgrade your video card, be careful about the power it needs. Some may require your Power Supply unit to have certain sepcific otherwise they might suddenly shut off during the game (i saw this happen alot especially with amd/ati video cards).

If you say I'm wrong Legolose, i believe you. I just assumed there was not enough spare time to develop both mods at the same time, but im more then happy to be wrong :)

Beacuse i see many people involved in TATW will be involved in that mod too, so i guess there's not enough hours in a day to have a life, work, and developing 2 mods at the same time. I hope to be wrong anyway.

Hi guys, you got me really curious...Can you tell us more about what you have in mind for this mod?

I guess that post means that after version 3.0 there would be no further versions of TATW...

I meant what do you think about CA making TW games harder and harder to mod over time and not releasing any kind of tool to help the community.
Personally i always loved games that came out with editors (like operation flashpoint for example) cause many times the user community is what make a game stand out from the crowd of videogames that at times look all the same.

It's almost impossible to mod even cause CA doesn't give mod community much help at all lately. And i think it's a big mistake cause there's still people buying old Total War titles even thanks to the great mods that came out for them.
How do you see it Legolose?
By the way is just to talk and spend some time while we wait...

I think everybody on here would be more then happy if they did TATW for Shogun 2 or even just for Empire, but as someone else already said the latest 2 games aren't as moddables as M2TW was. So i don't see it happening, unless a miracle happens and CA gives out modding tools.
Dreamins is still free tho, isn't it? :)

PS... I hope i'll be able to play 3.0 this august but i guess that will take another miracle itself :(
