Sorry man, but we're too busy kicking arse in GTA Chinatown Wars

Hello Dreamscape followers. The Dreamcsape mod is not dead, nor will it ever die. However, I will admit that things have been going slow these past few months. Quite a few of the team members have been occupied with others things like new jobs, new projects and so on. However, we've all agreed to come back to Dreamscape when the time is right.

And that time is very very soon...

Isn't it pretty obvious that he's a scientist? I don't see the need for the label.

Cool, I like the idea of having liberty city, vice city and san andreas as one huge map.

Nope, not dead. It's just moving slower because we have exams. More progress will be made during the summer and perhaps more media will follow then. Thanks.

It has potential but I hope you guys modify the rendering code too. Add some nice lighting techniques and shaders and you've got a great looking game.

That's the smg1 from HL2. We're gonna remove it eventually. The mod is going to have 4 (maybe 5) melee weapons and 6 guns.

I think there should be a *read more* link in the latest articles of the main page because as someone who was accustomed to the old moddb site, I assumed that was all there was to the news posts.

8 big new features are being worked on. So we're busy with that and don't have the time to do a media release. We will however start releasing small gameplay videos. Perhaps in a couple of weeks or so.

Hey Methulah, the brain hud element is now a blue bar on the hud. It's supposed to show your sanity level. The algorithm for the brain thing was too expensive, plus it distracted the player because there was a lot of movement in that area, so we replaced it with something simpler.

Thanks guys! Remember, Dreamscape has some rpg elements so it's not exactly like Max Payne! It's more of a mix between Deus Ex and Max Payne.

Hey sutra_668, it's strictly third person for now. Supporting a first person camera would be too much work at this point (eg: all the weapon models would have to be remodeled in higher detail + animated). We may add support for first person after our initial release, though.

That trailer is obsolete man.

And it's probably around 50% now, but we'll say it's 30 just to be safe.
