I'm a Level Designer specialist in Whiteboxing FPS's, as well as Detailing and I've have done Final Lighting on some team games. I’ve worked with several 3D engines. (Half-life 2 - episode 2; Radiant – Doom3; UDK, Unreal 3 [both Gears of War - Single player and Unreal Tournament - Multiplayer].
I've created this custom stair mesh for the middle room and plan on creating a part of it to be destructible. I used proboolen subtractive techniques to create this. Time with polygon clean up took about 6 hours but now I could create this again in about 1-2 hours. Most of the time was finding out the right technique to use. I model with the thought of unwrapping in mind so that texturing this would not be challenging.
