Good eye on the barrel length thing, I've been reading up a little on things that has an effect on weapon flashes and that was one of the things I read somewhere.

They strobe around the area-of-damage and let off the lightning you see in the picture when you step into the anomaly. These in turn emit dynamic sparks.

Do you guys have anyone handling particle work? I'd be happy to apply my experience in making and editing particles to this mod, which looks like it will turn out fantastic by the way.

By particles I mean things like anomalies, muzzle flashes etc
