Hey guys, I need a hand, I cant find the download for the "hero submod for edain". Can someone post a link or anything, would be much appreciated. Doesn't feel right to play without it.

Please tell me where to get eglishpatch201 file. I thought is was on this page under the description, it is not. So, where might I find it please?

This used to be one of my favorite mods for LOTR BFME 2 ROTWK. Literally top 3 out of many. I used to use Desura, which some mope bought and then defrauded his customers. Desura was a click and play situation. No need to install, god knows where, find it, extract it, which means what, and then finally read some completely confusing instructions on how to not be able to play. No offense, but if you're going to go through trouble of modding for people, maybe go the extra foot and proved an installer or launcher. If you have instructions in English that are not vague and don't involve guessing for normal PC operators, great, i'll take them, if not, crying shame for it to sit unused.

Also, does anyone know where I can get the original sub mod from years ago?

Love the Demo, by the way.

Will someone please send me a screen shot of what should be in the language folder in order to have 3.8.1 and hero sub mod in full audio/visual English? I'm really close to having it right but I'm off somewhere. I've got many "missingtooltips" and a lot of German audio.
I had it before I installed the Demo but when I reverted back to full version, I had to reset everything. Thank you.

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I have found that the crashing for me had to do with how long I took to finish the level. Do not take too long and you should get through. Mine would crash toward the end of the level, make sure you save your progress the further you get.

Help. (as usual) Ok, I really like the demo. But I want to play the full version, 3.8.1. I cannot download it from moddb and have it actually work, it never has for me. But every time I've downloaded from modding union, it's just fine. However, on modding union there is only the option to download the demo. Is it poosible to have both the demo and the full game available for download from that site? I just want to play the full game with all the great content.

Help me to install. I download/save Tactics 2.0. It does not run automatically. I find and open it and it asks for a program to open it with. I choose setup.exe, which is the only option that remotely looks like it would do anything. It extracts some files, downloads some stuff, finishes, closes, and that's it. No desktop icon and if I look for it again it is just the same stuff I have to open in the same way.

So, I save(download) Tactics 2.0. Then what? When I open it, it asks for a program to open it with, I choose setupexe.. It extracts some files, finishes and nothing happens. There is no Icon on the desktop. If I go to the file again I just end up going through the same thing.

I was wondering if there will be an update to allow this mod to work with edain 4.0 and current 4.0 demo? Hope so, really like it.

Ok, I need some help. In the last version {3.8.1}, there was a map that started with a circle of hero's standing in a circle, you choose 5 of them, and start a campaign map, which I really love. Does anyone know the name of this map? Any similar such map names would be appreciated as well, love those. Thank you.

Hi. Pretty excited to try this demo. However, It does not install when I download it. It just creates a file in my downloads that I cannot open. I have uninstalled the previous version and even went as far as deleting the launcher. This did not change anything. I have tried it several times before asking for help. Help. I have to choose a program to open it with, when I am able to get into it's files, there is no installation option. There is an uninstall option, but no install. It does not do anything automatically. I need suggestions. I will try downloading from Not moddb just to mix it up but I will probably still need help.

I do have a question.
I have tried to use the war of the ring mode a few times now and each time, it crashes with a runtime error.
Is there something I can do to keep this from happening or is it just a work in progress?
I am using the "historical" war of the ring, by the way.

I will give it a try and let know. Can it be installed and used while other mods are installed. Not to use at the same time but with Edain for example, you can't install and play other mods while it is installed, is this one the same way?

Are you pasting the options.ini through user-name or name of pc-roaming and then into the game?

It won't happen because of the time issue. If someone is dead before the story then they don't get to be in the game. Like Gil-Galad, who I wish was a recruitable character. But he can't be because he died in the second age. (even though this is a video game)

This is off topic but are you familiar with alot of Lord of the Rings stuff, material?

There are many great choices of heros to add, Gil-Galad was in the movie but died, just like Boromir died befire the end, or even the middle, but he's in the game. Poeple want this, Im telling you.

I was suggesting pretty much the same thing including Gil-Galad. The reply was that he was not of the third age. Well, no, he wasn't, but he was in the opening scenes at the last alliance with the elrond, Isildur, and others. No one cares when they died, we want them to live. Mods are about giving yourself and other people what they want from a game and I tell you, many people want this.

They did not fight for the dwarves, but they did fight with the dwarves. And instead of Bard, summon Girion, his grandfather I believe. And some old school defenders of Dale.
How about a "summon the dwarves of the Blue Mountain power".

I Love this mod and play it often.
I would love to be able to use Gil-Galad as a hero.
Also, I cannot pass the third level in the campaign, Mirkwood. The objectives are physically met and yet do not register as being met. Nothing happens when I build barracks on the shore and when I get the builders where they need to go. Help is appreciated.
