My main focus is testing PC games in Linux. I have had a lot of success with PlayOnLinux in Linux Mint! I am working hard at creating step-by-step guides on how to install, configure and optimize PC games in PlayOnLinux. I am also a artist with skills in drawing, sculpture, graphic arts, 3D modeling and music.

I searched online and couldn't find a way to install SDL2 via terminal, so I used Synaptics Software installer and typed sdl2 and installed the proper libraries

Wow, so you setup your camera movements and animation, then hit record and it drops thousands of stills in a folder? Thats crazy! But would be nice for high quality editing.
I think the Source Engine has a built-in video editor too. I remember seeing in-game movies for UT3 called machinima.
I was just wondering if it was easier to make cut-scenes from in-game footage or exporting to a 3rd party editor.

I'm very intrigued by the video and amazing concept. I love the different environments! You have quite a huge acheivement completing a game by yourself. Keep up the hard work!
I'm looking forward to exploring the world of Lifeless Planet.
I hope there is a Linux port on its way as well.

Something I have always wondered about with cut-scenes...
When visuals look this good in-game, can you just screen capture the shots you want and then edit into a video or do you actually use an in-game recorder?

Good point... really good point! I never made it through the "wrong" stage and had to move on. I think I will re-visit asset design later on, but I was really handicapped by not using the right programs. I do have a nice repository of seamless textures though. I was able to be productive in that area.

When that day comes I'm going to go nut with models and assets.
I think its extremely hard to do all the layers of production for one model, but that is what game engines need for a real-time interactive asset.

That is one wicked creature! I can't remember the last time I've seen so much detail on a model! Amazing work!
I love how you can't really see its entire body because of all the extremities. Makes it hard to know what part to shoot.
