My main focus is testing PC games in Linux. I have had a lot of success with PlayOnLinux in Linux Mint! I am working hard at creating step-by-step guides on how to install, configure and optimize PC games in PlayOnLinux. I am also a artist with skills in drawing, sculpture, graphic arts, 3D modeling and music.

So true! In fact I created a step-by-step guide on how to play in PlayOnLinux
Gamersonlinux.com

The only problem is many of the levels crash. So I will test this newer version and see if its better in Wine

Ah, very nice!
But still no Linux version... :(
I know they release the source code on Github, but haven't seen anyone working on it.

No problem. I am in no hurry, but when you release the next alpha, I will post it on reddit again.

Linux gamers always love to hear about a new game.

When I try to launch doombringer_linux.sh I get this error:
./doombringer_linux.sh
bash: ./doombringer_linux.sh: /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

The .sh says # This assumes the 'darkplaces' binary can be found on your path, which will usually be a system-wide installation of the darkplaces engine.

So I guess the darkplaces bundled with Doombringer isn't a system-wide installation. So I installed Darkplaces with my package manager, but I still get the same error.

Please help

Very nice update! I'm glad you are taking the project on and planning to finish it. I know being a developer is hard and life can always get in the way. Keep up the hard work! I love what I'm seeing so far!
It will be nice to fix bugs yourself instead of waiting on other programmers.
Looking forward to more content!

Wow! All those hand-cut stone textures are great! I love the floor as well. The character looked kinda funny just standing there while the boss walked by. Does the main character have a sneak animation?

Awesome style and gameplay for an old RPG genre. I love the colors and dungeon environments. I also love how the minions react to the sword.
Looking forward to seeing more of Dungeon Hero RPG

Oh, in that case it will probably run fine in Wine. I have successfully run UDK games by adding dotnet40

Oh I didn't realize this is a UE4 game. I haven't tested any UE4 games in Wine yet, but have successfully played many UE3 and UDK games in Wine.

I totally understand. If Mac has a low demand for gaming, then Linux is even lower. I know its a LOT of work creating a video game for Windows... adding other operating systems is just more work and more support.
I may give it a try in PlayOnLinux/Wine.
