Just gonna have to leave it on permanently then, unfortunate.

Thanks for all the help.

Okay...

Did that, found it and deleted the ""<!--" and "-->" so it's now marked as blue but that didn't change anything so I changed the values for x-y and height-width to the ones the other indicator that wasn't commented out uses but no luck there too. Sorry I don't really know much about coding so I don't know what I have to do exactly.

Ah, that's what I was doing wrong, you need to edit both files, thanks, worked a charm.

Gonna step it up with this last thing now, do you know what is responsible for showing indicators (mainly hunger) just when the inventory is open. What I want to achieve is to be able to see my hunger when my inventory is open but not see it when it's closed.

Now I know this is possible because back in 2.1 when you turned off the HUD those indicators would still be up when you opened the inventory but that is no longer the case with 2.2

Thanks in advance.

(EDIT: Tried some changes in maingame_16.xml and maingame.xml and searched for 'starvation' in most other UI XMLs, no luck)

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering, I know there is probably a way to disable all the UI elements in the bottom right hand corner (ammo icon, firemode indicator and ammo count) but so far I've only been able to disable the ammo count. I have tried a bunch of stuff but none of it worked, can you give me any tips or pointers, it should be possible without breaking the game right?

Thanks

Getting a new PC (sort of in expectation of this) and I can't wait to play it! Years of waiting but it's finally out! Big thanks to everyone over at MDT!

Can you tell if the Misery 2.2 compatible TAZ will require a new save game? (example being I start playing Misery 2.2 and then a week later TAZ comes out and I want to install it)

How much better is A-Life pop-in stutter now?

Quick question, have the suppressor stats been finalized yet? If so what will they be? (e.g. slight increase in accuracy, slight decreases in damage etc etc) I'm not asking for exact values but those would be nice too.

No, it's just experiencing the "projection? whoops" syndrome, just be patient. And hopefully by next december you can have a christmas present ;)

While we're on the topic, are you guys thinking of reviewing/polishing all of the scopes/red-dots sight pictures? Switching the current textures for more high quality assets from other games/mods. (only for other higher end scopes of course, personally I'd drop 10-20k rubles on a good sight/red dot if it's up to snuff no question)

(Sorry in case all of this was intentionally done but you should allow us at least to buy better scopes/red-dots, diversifying the sight pool and zoom levels is always nice because everybody has different preferences, and as long as they pay the right amount of rubles I think they should be able to get the sight they want)

I know they suck up out of inventory weapons (aka weapons on the ground or flying through the air) almost instantaneously, I was more interested specifically about the act of them looting other loot off their buddies, but yeah. Kinda sucks that we don't have any concrete info on that. Maybe I'll do some testing with the mercs in Zaton and come back and tell you.

When they 'reach' a corpse, how much time will they need before the "delete" their buddy's inventory? If they don't fully finish the looting animation is the loot safe or is it "deleted"? (also yeah I understand the holding weapon mechanics, I'm just asking specifically about the NPC looting mechanics, I am not complaining about the lack of loot in Misery, I've already spent hundreds of hours on the mod)

Oh, those are Open X-ray only features? Did not know that.

Please make sure you polish up issues like NPCs that have looted other NPCs not having the loot they picked up on them when killed (basically erasing your work if you like sniping from a great distance) And not being able to unload a gun while it's in a NPCs inventory for smoother micro management. These are both "features" that exist in other CoP mods so I see no reason not to include them. Thank you.

Hmmmm, you might want to tweak the rarity of them in the shop or something because nothing is appearing for me at Barman too, have you tested that they actually do appear there?

(vanguard of freedom, expert stalker and berrill 3Z radiation appear fine for me, normal commodity rate at shops, 5 save reloads at most)

I'm at Hawaiian but I don't see the "Zonewalker" Suit, just the Expert Stalker's Sunrise Suit. Do I need to get lucky or something? Or is there actually a pre-requisite for the suit appearing?

Wait, but it does work with CoC + STCoP Weapon pack currently, correct?

It would be nice if we got a rough estimate of when the patch will hit, especially if it's coming from the coder's mouth. But I know, I know if the date isn't near it'll just **** people off. Personally I wouldn't really care if it "takes too long" I'd really just like to know so I can go "okay, I need to entertain myself for X more weeks until 2.2 comes out" or whatever, because right now I've never had a proper sniper playthrough and my trigger finger is itchier than that of a starving bandit to just go in and make that happen even if 2.2 is relatively close.

Bummer, for 2.2 i'm most likely not running Recon so we'll see, thanks anyway for replying. Also yeah I did stumble onto that post while I was looking for a fix, the sight looks really nice but it would be even better if it was just the dot in the middle, that would make it a lot easier for medium-long range engagements since you can't replace the sight, for overall target acquisition as well. But if I've learned anything today it's that what I just recommended is probably a lot of work on top of everything else ;)

And another thing I have to clarify is, I'm not trying to change the weapon from what it is in vanilla Misery, I know that's very complex. I'm just trying to find the textures for the FAR-15 sight picture from TAZ (which are literally a red dot) and put them in my vanilla Misery 2.1.1 game, is that possible to do without affecting anything else in the game?

Something similar to what Misery Scope Mod 1.2 does

I reinstalled after it kept CTD-ing. It was like a month ago so I don't even remember what I did, I probably messed something up, anyway. Currently I just want a working sight picture for my FAR-15, I seriously don't want to start over from more than half way through the game.

P.S. I did try the static light fix but it didn't help. The pastebins you see here are just an example. Trying to inject random FAR-15 files doesn't work too well apparently, even with the static light fix. :p

Yeah, i already tried copying some of the FAR-15 resources from FAZ to my vanilla Misery but i'm not very knowledgeable about modding so I am probably missing a part of it or don't know where its located. So i just CTD after i try that.

Question, is there any way to install just the files regarding the FAR-15 or FAR-15 sight picture (the dot) along with Misery 2.1.1? I'm asking this because through a series of events i ended up CTD-ing with TAZ and i had to scrap it because i was too lazy to look into it. Playing without TAZ, later I discover that (for some reason) the FAR-15 sight is a big red blob and you can't see anything while aiming. So now i have a safe file literally just before entering Pripyat (the zone which the FAR-15 happens to be in) and that is why i wonder if i can fix that sight problem before going into the zone so I can skip the whole 'crashing to desktop and failing miserably at modding' ordeal. (Also I did just try installing TAZ but that just CTDs immediately in any of my save files.)
