DX10 fixes the shafts and scopes, but I can't get wet surfaces to work. It seems I need to decide which I can live without. Thanks for the replies though, guys.
Well DX9 Enhanced fixed the sunshafts, but broke my scope overlays. They're all distorted and offset downward so that half the image is off the screen. I've switched back and forth several times and this problem seems consistently tied to Render type.
I'm not getting sunshafts on DX11 (I do in vanilla), maybe I should "downgrade"?
I don't know if you intended it or not, but you can visit Pripyat Outskirts via the Jupiter Underground before turning off the brain scorcher or getting the psy-helmet. Pripyat Plaza is still a no-go though.
Is the helicopter in Limansk loyal to Monolith or Mercenaries? I ask because as a Military-aligned stalker I kept getting shot at by it and had to take it down to progress (in the direction I wanted to go, I could've just doubled back, obviously).
I wish they had a trader and/or mechanic down in Cordon, and a way to sell mutant parts.
When I saw this update on my followed mods, I thought it was the old MOHAA mod from 2005. I'm slightly disappointed, yet relieved.
Moldavia and Wallachia were occupied by the Russian Army in 1809. Some forces were raised there as pandours but they had no foreign policy, no standing army, and not even a hospodar after 1807.
Are you trying to suggest something?
No. Warband only.
You need to be promoted to those ranks instead of buying them, and promotions are earned by renown. When you think you have enough, ask the Regimental Liaison at the Depot.
Talk to the recruiter in the faction's capital (street scene, standing next to a cannon and flag) or the regimental liaison at the military depot.
IDI KO MNE.
Which is often confused with "Dark Valley Escape" or Darkscape for short.
The idea was that all the music in the mod would be the sort available at the time, so nothing written after 1809 could reasonably be used. Liszt's 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies were first written in 1846 and onward.
Sneaking with your flashlight on - the ultimate stalker.
He said mouth, not ***. He also made a disparaging remark about Jews.
As seen from a tree fort, apparently.
You saw gear for Twilight of the Sun King circa 1702 left over in the brf archives. None of that will be used in L'Aigle. The next update, 1.3, will primarily contain new scenework and bug fixes.
Horilka in the making
The fabric of the mask was porous but layered and impregnated with chemicals - effectively the whole mask was a filter. The French didn't see a need to replace it and it served from February 1916 until the end of the war. It was graded as withstanding five hours of exposure to phosgene but some later chemicals like chloropicrin could penetrate and poison the wearer. 30 million were made, and at least six million were used by the British to augment their own mask numbers.
Is the portrait based on your faction, or will it be customizable?
Watch the video "Call of Chernobyl tester play", Cordon is already in the mod.
The beams, boss, the beams!
Did the downvoters even know what it meant?
The riflemen are blocking their sight-picture with their thumbs.
There are British, French, and Russian sailors in the game files, but they don't spawn quite right presently. Marines are also planned for those factions first.
