Yeh I'm with others on this. If you dropped support for the source engine. Atleast release the maps for walking and viewing pleasure....kinda like Dear Esther without sequences ;) Or release for a worthy game/mod deserving such beauty. Think about it?

Between Brainbread and Public Enemy. I don't even know how I had time to get up and take a ****, I was so glued to those mods. They showed mod developers the true light of what can possibly be done with the HL engine. They are still amazing mods. And truly hope this mod can stand up to its predecessor.

Love that flamethrower lol. Molotov has nice effect. Not sure about the Barret .50 explosive rounds... Also griping abou the M-16 muffled pop sound. But hey....it's your mod. Liking what you got so far!

I still am amazed every time I see a update for this mod. Takes me back to the days when Condition Zero was released using GldSrc...and I was blown away with that. Seeing this mod's progress makes me spurt... ;)
Go there for some ideas.... I am fond of X shaped crosshairs with a dot in center. It's simple and very useful. Who else agrees?
That....or no crosshairs...to add a little skill behind shots....or old school dry erase marker crosshairs on screen.... Nobody can bitch about design then.... ;)

How about they just continue working on the mod as is. And allow them to release it sooner by using Doom's content. They are not making profit from it. And it is not that hard to come back later after a release with a facelift to the maps with Higher Definition Textures. So keep up the god work guys!

Man....this is what I have been waiting for! Can't wait for a physics demo video of how these cars handle! I still remember few years back when the HL Rally team were running into problems with the Source engine because of the vehicle physics not up to par. But how they made a racing game on the "GldSrc" engine....something not designed for vehicles. And here years later....ahhh i am just jibber jabbering, you know what i mean. Great work guys! Keep it up! I need a fresh game to play like this to keep me off Grid.

Its all good. I am going forward knowing that I am making a CS like mod without the gore. Its been said time and time again with both Paintball and Airsoft mods that have come and gone. I personally dont need blood to enjoy a game. Most people dont. I have seen enough blood in my life to hold me over 5 life times.
This is really just a side hobby though. If it ends up just being me making it. So be it. I learn some new skills along the way. I'm not looking to make this mod appeal to everybody in the HL/HL2 community. I am making this for the possible 20 maybe even 30 people that would enjoy playing it. Thats all.
Everybody has thier opinion. Some people may agree or disagree with the making of this mod. But if it is made in the long run. (And a long one it will be..) I ask those that disagree...come back for its release and play it.
Alson dont forget to skin the on/off button on the frame.
