I've gotten used to even the Golan I platforms being pretty formidable, but if it's going to be the new level 1 station I'd imagine that's not really the case anymore. Oh well, I'm looking forward to seeing how this new station system plays out regardless.

Have you previously used a mod like Republic at War that changed the AI? If so, usually deleting the Data folder and then verifying the files, then reinstalling AoTR will fix it.

I always thought a mechanic just like this would be really cool, but I didn't think it would be possible to implement into this game. This all looks great so far, I can't wait for 2.7.

One thing you must know about RAW AI: It cheats. A lot. You will lose a lot of space stations, and the early game for any faction is incredibly difficult. A few tips to help with that, first of all, effective fighter micro-management is key to most space battles, and second, capture Mygeeto. It's a CIS owned world by default, located in the far north part of the galaxy, and if you build three mines there, you can get well over 10,000 credits daily from it. As you can probably imagine, this is really helpful for building up a fleet.

I believe you have to delete either the AI folder found in the data folder or delete the data folder entirely, then reinstall. Next time, make a copy of the data folder before installing RAW or any other mod that changes the AI, and then rename the copy for whatever version you want to play to just 'data'.

I know it's been a while since we've gotten any news for this mod, but EaW got a workshop update about an hour ago, and I'm wondering if you would plan on putting this on it.

Just thought I'd point out that Popstar is the actual name of the planet Kirby lives on. Dreamland is the name of the country (or possibly kingdom, I don't think it's ever specified) on Popstar.

Other than that, I'm really looking forward to this. It's something I never knew I wanted until now. If I knew how to do any of the things you needed people for, I would volunteer, but the most I can do with my knowledge is wish you luck.

Okay, I'll have to look out for that then.

I have one quick question, can TIE Defenders be found and bought from shipyards in the current version, or can you only obtain them through other means? I've been looking for one all over but can't find them anywhere.

If a faction runs out of stations to build better space units, they'll start spamming whatever ship they can build without those stations.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that non-player factions have all heroes from the very beginning, with maybe a few exceptions. As for difficulty, ThatOneBullet himself once said that you should always be ready to lose some planets, because you will. However, it's easy to move past that and survive if you stick to it.

Depends on the faction. Empire has four tie fighters, Rebellion has an X-wing and two Z-95s (A-wings if you're the New Republic)and some fighters I don't know the name of for the Black Sun.

I have a small question, do the trade routes in this mod vary in value from time to time? I notice sometimes my weekly income will rapidly increase by thousands of credits, but it gradually drops back down after a while. I know it has nothing to do with Black Sun units, rebel smugglers, or new planets/income-generating structures, so I can only guess it's the trade routes.

If it's destroyed, you can't see enemy units on the minimap. It may not sound like much, but not being able to see enemy's on your map is more annoying than you'd think.

There's a button to see the group developing it, Steiner Modding Group, and you can see the members from there. You can probably tell who's still working on it based on how long it's been since they were last online.

Yes, someone made a fix, but for me at least it made the mod crash a lot more. I'm pretty sure it was from this fix at least, I don't remember the mod behaving like that before then.

Put your cursor over a unit and press 'c'. you can then have full control of the camera for that unit, and zoom in and out on it. The only problem is that it can't be done on enemies.

Did you extract the file first? You need something that can extract .rar files, such as Winrar

I would just like to say, the 'Strength in Numbers' thing you've been saying is only possible for CIS AI because the AI in this mod poofs in magical fleets from nowhere and has seemingly endless credits. Not that this is a problem for skilled republic players, but when you're playing as the CIS and the Republic pulls out the same magic fleets, strength in numbers is almost impossible to pull off. Or, at least it is in GC. It's also hard to outnumber the enemy when their main battleship that can outclass a lot of what you have in both fighters and firepower is less expensive than you're ships. I believe a Venator cost 5,500 credits, but a Providence cost 6,000, a Bulwark cost 6,500 and a Lucrehulk 8,000. But, again, I'm using what I've experienced in Galactic Conquest so my opinion may not apply. As one final note, no, Venator's should not be made even stronger, beams and powerful fighters combined with lots of basic weapons makes them hard enough to deal with already.
