Since you guys scrapped the DOV mod for Sins of a Solar Empire, would there be any chance of a modder getting his hands on the models of the ships for a personal mod. I was also going for the same kind of look for the ships and it would be cool to have, but I don't know how you guys are handling them right now.

Well is that the same case with high end computers? Like are you talking about frame rate cause I'm sure my computer can handle it, because I could always try in incorporate the mod into my copy of RAW when it comes out myself, maybe it could be an addon. But if it's a all around problem I'll take your word for it, I just thought it would take the game to it's highest graphical potential, considering the effects in the vanilla game are very lack luster.

Just a question/suggestion.
Is this mod gonna be using the same special FX as the ones in the vanilla game? Like explosions and stuff? Because you could instead incorporate new FX from this mod called the"FX Mod". They may have a few features you can incorperate and the game would look better than it does now (if thats even possible)!
