Seen you're the lead designer of this mod, you should know a little bit of everything. Especially level design. Levels are the base of your game, a bad map can ruin your entire game. You don't have to know how to use Hammer and all of it's secrets, that's the task for your mappers, but you should know the basic rules for levels. An example of these rules are, how do I guide my player? You can do that with light for example. Would you rather go down a dark staircase or go up a well lit staircase? Most people choose the well lit staircase ofcourse.
