That, good sir, would most likely be a pain elemental spawning additional lost souls. They add to your enemy count, thereby increasing the total number of enemies. As far as not finding all of them, SOMETIMES the baddies kept in a sealed room for "surprise teleports" will not empty out entirely, and remain trapped in the sealed room. hope this helped!

When I summon marines on the command prompt, the existing marines have taken a liking to putting bullets in the newly spawned FNG. Thought that was funny and should be pointed out.

okay scratch that. GZ was out of date. Went to using v2.0.05 and got the error

R_OPENGL: unable to create an OpenGL 3.x render context.

I'm getting that for everything now. Not just the mod.

Script error, "GAMEINFO" line 3:
Expected identifier but got 'true' instead.

Using latest version of GZDoom. Thoughts?

Yeah I checked on that too. No dice. Sorry for being so much trouble about it. I just really enjoyed this badass mod. Although I do have an idea. How hard would it be to encode a "pick up weapon" command? That would probably add some appeal, as well as avoid a gun-naked marine when he drops all of his weapons. Just an idea.

okay only ONE issue I'm having so far:

I put a drop weapon key in the alternate control area (x), but sometimes I'll drop the weapon and not swap with the one on the ground. Eventually I just end up with nothing but fists and no way to grab some new guns. What am I doing wrong? This mod kicks supreme *** otherwise!

I sincerely hope you're still working on this. I just tested it on GZ, and it ran perfectly. To top it off, it added literally NO additional strain to my Old-*** laptop. PLEASE keep up on this project. It's exactly what Doom needs!
