So basically Im using the collectors edition of AOE 2 and after I install the patch 1.0c, on start-up it says "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart the application", which would be fine except the CD-ROM is already in there. Help please?

OK, so I got the patch but now the game tells me t "insert the correct CD-ROM". I inserted the original installation disc but to no avail! Please help...

Sorry, I probably sound like a noob, but what?

So basically I start the game, it all works fine but as soon as get into a battle the whole thing crashes "medieval 2 has encountered an unspecified problem and will now close". This never used to happen but I took a break from the game and now this happens every time, I am running it on Windows XP...please help me, I can't live without my Third Age!
