Hey - the GDI release is quite fun. The new additions - especially defenses are quite fun to use. However the mod really needs to resize most of the stuff imo - i get that some of the new stuff needs to be a bit bigger, but come on -the new gdi super defense takes up a quarter of the screen, then kodiak 2 basically takes the whole screen, the super units are so large, if you have additional units around them you can't distinguish anything on the screen and so on. It just ruins the visual pleasure, when your screen has 2 units that cover every other unit around them, or when 3 defenses cover all your screen. Especially given that the camera height is very low in cnc3.

Hey guys. First of all amazing mod - i've been following it for a long time and every release is a pure delight. I do have a question as an old modder - which ini file has the generic defines for each value - such as for example the farm radius value or the farm command points value - cause i've been looking around in the ini's and i can't find it. In the original game it's all in the gamedata.ini but in this mod those values seem to be greened out so basically unused.

Imo you should make it much bigger. In the pic if you look at it's scale it's only slightly bigger than the construction droid. The Rebel juggernaut is based on the Republic Turbo Tank which was the only vehicle comparable in size to the imperial AT-AT. The turbo tank is massive - and while the imperial Turbo Tank was slightly smaller, it's still a giant tank. The current size makes it look like some kind of resource collector.

Your analysis needs alot more work. But at this point im not interested in further discussing this thing and Zeke pretty much proved my point with his wedding example.

As for the safe space - i have never enjoyed a safe space in my life as i love argumentative talk. And that is why i posted the constructive criticism part. That would've been argumentative talk. Comments like - this mod sucks cause it didn't go how i imagined it or this mod sucks cause it's to slow are neither productive nor argumentative. They are stupid, condescending (because the person feels that he was entitled to said mod how he wanted it and when he wanted it) and useless (because they neither motivate anyone, nor do they bring any useful information on the product itself). So in the end if you actually read this better you would realize that he was spending his useless time in a very useless manner.

If someone had a problem with the art direction, or the story or something that actually regarded the mod itself, and i went on a rant how he is wrong then yes - it would have been a safe space. Once again i find myself in the position of asking people to carefully learn what a word or a combo of words means and how that meaning can be extrapolated to the situation they find themselves in (why i explained the condescending, useless and safe space parts). Cause just using safe space for the sake of using it, simply makes you look like you don;t understand the meaning or the situation it applies to.

If you don't like our mod for it's production speed than instead of posting ****, spend that time doing something else. That would show both being semi-intelligent and semi-grown up, none of which you manage to show at this point. My attitude towards you and other geniuses like you has very much been shaped by this kind of comments and attitudes.
It's called constructive criticism for a reason - aka you have a concern and you raise it in a constructive way with arguments. Telling someone his mod is **** cause it's being slowly produced is not constructive but idiotic at best. As for the grammar part - dude really - if i make a grammar mistake i make it in the third foreign language i speak from my native one. You barely manage to speak a lousy english american dialect at best, so spare me of your grammar nazi crap.

Now spend your useless time somewhere else and stop spamming the page of a mod you don't like with idiotic comments. Cause at this point you just come off as the little basement bitch that didn't get his FREE toy in time and is now being a drama queen about it. And if your snowflake feels got hurt by my attitude cry me a river and go in your safe space OUTSIDE this mod's page.

You see what you and most of the self-entitled bitches on the internet fail to understand is that this vote is not about you and your snoflake feelings, but about us - modders. If this ever gets released or not, the work we put into this mod is still there. And since we do this for free - aka none of you condescending self-entitled little bitches pay us anything, the voting part is pretty much the only way you can give us an appreciation for that FREE work. But i guess you need an active neuron and some understanding that the world doesn't revolve around your tiny *** prick to figure that out. If we get your vote or not it makes little difference to us. The role is extra firepower and cool looks. Making them anti-air would simply make the new BM the mother of all units, turn gat tanks into redundant units and brake the whole unit role/variety. So for gameplay's sake we decided to make them an additional anti-ground weapon that deals with infantry and light vehicles.

It's way to small. Ingame it looks almost the same size as a power plant. At most with that size it looks like an armory or something. My suggestion would be to make it about the same size as a strategy center/propaganda center.

The radius decal is way to much. It almost covers the unit itself and simply clutters the screen with much unneeded visuals. Also i suggest scrapping the dented wheel texture for a simple non-dented one, for the reason that with anything other than straight lines, you have a hard time understanding the actual radius.

Technically speaking our CCU USA is pretty much NATO. We have many designs based on European military assets and we plan to add even more. As for Russia - not gonna happen - though with China we also plan to use alot of Russian designs - so in a way you could say China is an Asian military alliance while USA is more or less NATO.

The T3 ones look indeed similar. They have the same style for the upper part - a cilinder surrounded by spikes. The fact that the cybran one has longer spikes doesn't make for much of a difference. Along with that - the base is also rather similar, even if the cybran one uses edgy shapes as opposed to the roudish style of the aeon one.

Don't get me wrong - i'm not advocating for realism. I'm tired of realism mods by now. But i still think this tank looks - well pretty much what Zeke said - like a scavanged tank. It would fit GLA more than a modern day army. If you don't want to go realistic - that's awesome. But for this tank, and for further units, i'd advice going on a less frankenstein looking design (made of different parts) and try a more solid look that can be related to in terms of modern day designs.

Right so after multiple games, i have to say that who ever thought those random boxes are a fun idea, should try to actually play the mod. I have had my harvesters destroyed like a gazillion times by stupid random bomb boxes, i have had my base carped bombed because those boxes magically appeared under one of my dozers or radar trucks, and i had to micro my armies more to dodge frekin magic random box explosions than to fight enemies. Seriously - there is literally nothing fun in those boxes, unless you have fun seeing your stuff get instantly blown to pieces by magic.

Other than that - descriptions and shortcut keys are a huge mess.

And finally - considering your USF armies are already limited as hell by a very small amount of units, why on earth do you force a player to chose 1 of 2 possible tech unlocks. I mean sure - if i build 2 tech centers and i upgrade each with a different tech i can chose both paths, but still - on small maps that is almost impossible. Not only you chose to limit the tech evolution via ranks, and went even further with rank8 as the supw unlock which turns every game into a rage quit resistance training session, but you further limited stuff by adding tech paths, while already having very limited amount of unit choices. You don't get original by limiting tech and slowing down the game to a crawl. You already got original enough by having a really awesome faction design. Stick to that and stop limiting the player experience so much, cause that only creates frustration and destroys fun.

I must admit this mod had me hyped from the start. And even now after playing the beta i find it's visual quality amazing. And while it has a few visual bugs here and there (like upgrade cameos that use the wrong cameo), for a first beta it is pretty damn cool.

A small suggestion would be to add power consumption (or production) on the description of each building. Right now one can only guess what that is and it's hard for the base management.

However my main concern is the general promotion dependent tech tree. I cannot for the life of me understand what is it with russian mods and general rank unlocked techs. It slows the game down alot, it limits tech access alot, and it makes PvE highly unplayable due to slow as hell gameplay.
