Better than the original model ;)
It even has fingers! I thought the game couldn't support such detailed models until now, it's clear the devs did a mediocre job with models.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
It's an Aurora class ship!
Yeah I think the perfection sits midway.
The double hangars are luckily gone, but this feels to me a bit too roundy while Tauri design is more geometric.
Other than that it's very very good.
Just what the game needed, a new hud to get rid of the poor vanilla one and the horrid one that came with the fan patch 1.3,
AND a layer of strategy to the gameplay.
If only you could do something for the graphics, you would take SWBF2 to nowadays.
PLEASE keep up the great work, already tracking. ;-)
Of course we want it in! ;-)
So what is it? I'm so curious by now.
That's extremely detailed to be a low-poly. My very compliments!
Now I have a new space-y wallpaper!
The amount of detail you pulled on this engine is surprising, it's almost photorealistic
or any other Stargate villain, it would be the same for me, just give us anything SG. This IP still needs a good game.
Epic shot too ;-)
I'm glad to see the modders aren't giving up, after such a cataclysm it would be understandable, but they keep strong not to allow all their efforts going vain.
Two thumbs up to the modding community for acting as one in front os such a crisis!
Just... WOW O_O
"The needs of the many prevail the needs of the few or the single" was a key piece of Star Trek philosofy
When I used to check the game forum, I've read about other game modes in which to battle others to defend the team spawn point (called 'VAT')
Great work! I could not stand the old model ;-)
Already tracking ;-)
I cannot recall this class (I have yet to see Universe), is it original?
If so, it reminds me a bit of Starship Troopers ships.
Anyway, good job ;-)
*two thumbs up*
Cool and very close to the show ;-)
"Will be released November 2013"
It's February 2014, so... where is it?
OK there cans be a last-minute problem and a delay, but after three months you should at least inform us.
Wooow - a new Tau'ri ship!!! This is great news ;-)
Seems very interesting...
You're not the only one wondering about it ;-(
This game needed all but an even more intrusive UI
- indeed everyone I listened wanted a lighter one, expecially in regard to the ridicolous oversized crossair.
Instead, the unofficial patch you need to run the new features added by the mods introduced... this thing, which one can only wonder who may think was necessary.
Altough the documentation that cames within the unofficial patch states it is possible to revert to the original, less-intrusive hud,
I, which I use computers from the elementary schools at the times of DOS and have plenty of know-how about doing such basic tasks,
followed the instructions and never, ever, achieved to do so.
It's an awful design choice that has been taken for mysterious reasons, and forced on us, that's it.
IF anyone knows how to get rid of it other than the futile words on the patch readme, please PM me anytime until DICE's BF cames out (and probably later on)
It seems more like an Ancient ship...
Very well done!
The head is just like the show - maybe just that silly smile has to get away for a more serious expression, and you already know, the eyes. ;-)
These are really GREAT news! :-)
...So you also have a BSG mod in the works :-)
May I have a link with all of your projects? ;-)
I finished checking ALL Stargate mods for action games, 2 pages,
nearly 30 mods without any word in the same timeframe, 10 months.
If you do a quick search with the keyword "Stargate", at least within "action" games category,
you'll find most ceased development the same time, 10 months ago...
I counted nearly 20 or so only in the first page...
I wonder how this could be just a coincidence...
Did anyone receive a "cease and desist" letter from MGM?
If yes, didn't you at least inform us who tracked your mods you cannot continue?
I really appreciated those models when I played the frst test map of SGBF...
I'm glad to see the same assets being used here too ;-)
Please keep up the great work!
