How does one edit the actor.ltx for changing the weight since the actor.ltx is not there, any help will be appreciated, thanks.
I'm not sure if this has been asked, I am wondering if Arsenal RC1 or any mod that adds many weapons will work for this I doubt the older versions will but are there any future plans for an arsenal overhaul?

have you tried splitting up the model to be textured?
Zandronum is a old version of Gzdoom, use Gzdoom instead its more stable and its easy to use. You just have to drag and drop the wads and pk.3's into the gzdoom.exe and pick whichever doom game you want running.
Sure RAR files can contain malicious stuff but so can almost any other file extension, its all about where you get your RAR file, you can also use 7zip and Winzip to open those files as well.

You only drag and drop one game WAD (Doom2, Plutonia) etc.. and with one game wad selected you ctrl click the brutal doom version you have. then drop it into gzdoom.exe.
In your case you should just drag and drop doom 2 and brutal doom into gzdoom.exe.
I think your problem is you only dragged one WAD into gzdoom ever then it just used the same one without asking you whether you wanted to use another WAD file.

also I assume I just have to extract these textures into the Gamedata folder.

Okay guest, you have no idea on porting designs for this game will even take. hardly anyone working on the build engine is experienced with making complicated geometry and particles and placing them in an editor.
You do not even comprehend the amount of skill needed to make a good full 3d game. If you want a game like brutal doom wait until Doom in 2015 ID software have already taken an inspiration from Brutal Doom and then wait for that game to be moddable so it can serve as a base.
Executions in this game alone are so huge and intricate. sprites are just 2d pictures that have no polygons or animations.
No one will do this for you.
1 - download gzdoom.
2 - download brutal doom v19 or v20 when that comes out
3 - extract gzdoom anywhere you want.
4 - then extract brutal doom into the extracted gzdoom folder.
5 - copy and paste DOOM 2.WAD or any other of the Doom games into the extracted gzdoom folder.
6 - then drag and drop whichever doom game you want into the gzdoom.exe then play.

That's fair enough, the map looks huge as well, shadow wood would have the foggy sections, but yea there isn't much water in the Seven portals. can't wait to check out the next update :)
By the way you might want to check out Hellraid in your spare time its an upcoming techland game and a spiritual successor to the Dark Fantasy hack and slash genre.

Looks like a graphical glitch, Haven't had that problem before, try shutting max off then Run as admin, if it doesnt work maybe reinstall. it would also be a good idea to get a more modern version of 3ds max.
I like the starting area of the map,
- A wall section like the original with the portal where Korax greets you but in the same place you spawn in the mod.
- The doorway near the stairway area to get into the seven portals area, it would be cool if the golden doors were closed and the player had to find a switch to go into it, so like a mini puzzle before the main puzzle.
- Is it going to still have similar art style to the winnowing hall? like some floors having reflections and darkness?

3Ds Max 2013 :) yea blender is a good free program but it's just not consistent with other programs, Personally don't find it a comfortable program to use.
It's so awesome seeing all these maps getting expanded like this, just finished a necromancer play through in Hexen Wrath of Cronos mod. Also tried out winnowing hall you made and its excellent. love the reflection of the tile floor as well. good luck to you.
