This upload is not finished, i'm uploading it to get feedback from every body,at the moment, if you enter and of the guardian portals and re enter the hub, the hub resets itself, that'll obviously be fixed in the final version.

I like the starting area of the map,
- A wall section like the original with the portal where Korax greets you but in the same place you spawn in the mod.
- The doorway near the stairway area to get into the seven portals area, it would be cool if the golden doors were closed and the player had to find a switch to go into it, so like a mini puzzle before the main puzzle.
- Is it going to still have similar art style to the winnowing hall? like some floors having reflections and darkness?

I have an actual start area for the player, but its outside of the map and unfinished, im going to make small rooms that look as if youre traveling through a portal, and korax stops and meets you before each hub, and then you are spawned on an area of the map
I probably will end up doing that later on, theres still quite a bit that needs to be polished up
Yeah i intend on having some of those effects used throughout the game, fog, 3D floors, swimmable water, reflective floors, this hub probably wont have any of that though honestly
That's fair enough, the map looks huge as well, shadow wood would have the foggy sections, but yea there isn't much water in the Seven portals. can't wait to check out the next update :)
By the way you might want to check out Hellraid in your spare time its an upcoming techland game and a spiritual successor to the Dark Fantasy hack and slash genre.

Yeah i have, i was interested in it before back when it was announced and the trailer was up, but now its just "eh" to me tbh, ill keep an eye on it though.
I'll probably be working on shadowwood this coming week, im going to restart it i think, i tend to do that a lot lol. And i already have good concept art for the main chamber of the caves of circe, so if i hear from the person that drew it for me, i'll post it here if theyre alright with that.
I remember an image here on this page saying, "can you say mega hub" that was shadow wood wasn't it ?
yep! i remember liking that design a lot more than the recent images that i have of shadowwood on here lol, the design will come to me eventually
