I can model! See?
I say this is the perfect time for cannibalism... no? Just me?
This game looks great! It's sort of like a classic fps! And using GM for this is also quite impressive!
Great release date! Even though you guys are in the UK, there's nothing more American than a good ol' enviro-crushing muscle cars and SUVs. Both of which need at least a V8!
That reminds me, are there plans for SUVs and Pickups?
Also, will I, as an American, be able to build a huge muscle car that gets approximately 10 gallons to the mile with optional steering?
Once again, great job!
I'm glad to see that you like it!
In my opinion, Minecraft is an okay game, but it is way over hyped. For a while, everything was Minecraft, this really got on my nerves as Angry Birds does today. Also, what I like about it, Cube 2: Saurbraten did better. (And Cube 2 came first and it's free.) I hope a really good game wins. (I.E. NOT my game "1 Monster Truck vs. 61 Children")
Actually, I must confess, I only used MS Paint for the header. If I make a sequel I will use MS Paint. I can't believe I slipped up on that! :(
You have to hit it a certain amount of times in the minute given or you won't make the jump.
Effort? I made this in half a day you know...
Did you try contacting an admin about that?
If you haven't already thought of it, a test track to drive your cars would be pretty fun!
Patients! Let's take a look back at the early days of this engine, when EA decided to release an FPS on the C&C series. Looking at concept art, it was going to be awesome! They missed the deadline, they made a video saying they wouldn't do it again, they missed the deadline again, and then they rushed it. Rushing that game, Renegade, made for a game which despite having great multiplayer value, was actually pretty terrible. A good game was rushed, and thus became not so great. Let's not have this happen to Roleplay 2. Still, it is pretty exciting!
There might be... But it's really complicated if there is. If you read the description it says
"It did not took long when the first problems appeared. There were many game internal limits like a limited number of models you can add, just as parts of the map are not rendered when they are mapped outside of an fixed boundary. At this time modding was not very sophisticated so there was no way to bypass those limits."
It also says:
"However untill today no stable way has been found to add the whole map next to the original one." [sic]
Until today? I'm wondering if they found a way and are working on it or they meant "to this day." I hope they do find a way. It would be pretty epic!
No, I think that's more Blackberry. I think Android is more the middle ground.
He did this for me. It worked!
... NOPE! ... :D
As of now SAMI is uncompatible. (I just tried it...) But if this mod is made compatible it would make things easier. I have tried twice to install it to no avail ): so that would be nice.
Also, it would help if the video were higher resolution. Right now you have to look real hard to figure out which file is which.
I like the ++ coming from the bystander. And how everyone is clapping. Geez people, what's your problem, two people are killing each other and you just stand there and clap... and gain friendship?
I got this from another site (Though I wish I knew I could get it here as it's a whole lot more convenient) It is really good when you just want to do something with the sim. You don't have to spend for ever just getting the sim happy only to find another stat is too low. Fixing things in an endless cycle. I would not recommend this if you are really trying to play the game, but for those who use "family funds" of "motherload" anyway it is perfect! (Or other messing around things/not playing seriously.)
P.S. Yes Green Machine, it is pretty obvious, isn't it...
... What? :P
I got it to work using DaveDude's method!

I have XP Service Pack 3, would that have anything to do with it? If so I still can't do compatibility for SP2.
I JUST tried that a few times and I got an error message:
Renegade has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
The old version still works though.
I keep trying to run it but I get the Renegade Configuration Tool. After I click okay it quits giving me the whole error report send or don't send thing.
Are you currently working on the new one, if so you should post pictures of that, like renders of models. That's if you have any renders yet. Please post them when you do, or if you do!
where are the GLA vehicles?
You should keep some of the scripting from the old one, like the upgrades, and building the base defenses ect.
Yeah, but they also do games members make. Why do you think they have an option for engines custom built? That's what I had to use instead of Game Maker, mainly because Game Maker is not an engine but a game making program. (It's hard to explain.) I would not be surprised how ever if ModDB started out with just mods, but now user made games can be submited. A lot of websites do that they branch out from what they were originally supose to do, like Google, it was a search engine, now there is GMail, Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Page Creator, ect. It is a good idea to get more users, just go with it, and all that stuff. (Or e-mail ModDB to change its name, that works to.Ü)
NOTE:About the Ü that is suppose to be like :) but :) doesn't look good, because I needed a ) at after the :) making it look like :))
Okay, I learned that Scud Storm is going to be a lot better, so I have a new idea, make a stand alone mod for Renegade, but instead of a mod list, it has a games list, and you choose what game you want to play, and there is 5-10 maps for each C&C game turned first person. Basicly we have a mod that makes it CNC, and CNC Covert operations, CNC Red Alert, ect. I do not want many maps though for each because, we are focusing on CNC not a certain CNC game, others do that, and we don't want people not to get the others, we want ours good, but others better for a specific game, like RA:APB is good if you want Red Alert, RA2:AR If you want Red Alert 2, Reborn for CNC Tiberium Sun, Scud Storm for Generals, ect. so ours will not go into many maps, but be a good general game to play. Also if a new game comes out, we make a mod package, that is realy a game, and it adds to the list of games, that way you do not have to download it again and have to reinstall it, instead you get the update, and it is like the latest one!
