I read a fan fiction where, when Reach wasn't discovered, when the Iriqouis wasn't tracked, the UNSC got energy shields on all of their ships in a ~decade-ish, a few new ship types, and ******* steamrolled High Charity. Chief suckerpunched Regret and Truth.

The UNSC Infinity was equipped with Broadsword fighters, which are F-41 Exoatmospheric Multirole Strike Fighter, the successor to the Sabre, some believe.
I do hope that it is equipped with Broadswords, but eh.
