Yeah, I'd have to agree with that. While I would like to completely agree that this mod isn't dead, no updates since 2009, and as of right now, the last twitter update was 538 days ago, I have my suspicions. No "NEW" content has been added in forever. Their page says under active production, but I'm sorry, I know this was a large project to do, and I love the fact that they took it on to give us such a large mod for free, and with their own personal time, but if the task at hand was too large, and they have left it alone for so long now, I just wish that they would post it and let someone else pick up the pieces. It's definately taken on "valve time" and is starting to enter the realm of vapor-ware which previously held Duke Nukem Forever.

But again, I hope I'm wrong, and hope to be proven wrong, which is again, while I will continue to wait and check for updates every few weeks. The Devs have my support, but a little Quid Pro Quo would be nice!

I want to say I told you so.... I want to say it so bad I can taste the bitter sweet words that feels more like phlegm from a goa'uld... but I won't. I had the feeling for so long that this MOD was dead.... but alas... the error message says:

So, maybe as the message infers, it maybe just a corrupted file, nothing more.

And if you knew anything about creating a mod from the source engine, you would also know that 1) It really dosen't take THAT long (if you any have any talent) and 2) After being on Moddb for literally almost 3 YEARS, and you still have nothing better to show than a few pictures, almost exactly the same as the ones that came out when this MOD was first posted, you are really out trying to be cool, but not really doing anything about the mod, and, yes, like I said before, "Dragging it out for fame." Now I agree, the concepts and the renders are GREAT! But even on their forums, there is NO news. Amongst the DEVs, their is no communication. People have given up and have become so bored at looking at the same crap over and over. Alot of guys playing Dystopia have started talking trash about this MOD because while, yes, a lot of people would like to see a Stargate MOD come to life, people also know that if they were TRULY working on it, they would post REAL updates with FRESH pix instead of recycled pix for the past 2-3 years. I feel, as do a lot of us, that they have given up. They said "F-it!", ripped out the hard drive, took it out to that lovingly pot hole in the middle of the high way, chucked it in there, and poured some concrete on it, covered it with asphalt, and called it a day.

What was updated? You know, you guys don't really update on either here or your website. I'm really beginning to think that this mod is dead and you guys are just trying to drag it out a little further for fame, maybe? There is nothing but talk on your forums, and no real update for probably months, as the last time, you just posted a few pics, which you could have had for a lot longer time. You seriously need to say either "Hey, yeah it's dead. Sorry for dragging it out." or "No, it's not dead, we just never have time to work on it, so that's why it's taking an unsusually long time to get REAL updates. Sorry for the delay." or something that has some real sustenance. Your fan base has been dropping like a stone over the past few months. I know, I've been watching. I have been hoping you guys would be the first to release the mod, and I've checked every single day (no joke) hoping for an update. But your numbers have been dropping. It's been almost 3 weeks since anyone wrote a comment and all it said was "no this mod isn't dead", but it leaves me wondering.

Gotta check their website. Ha ha.... very funny.

Hey! Saw updated 1 day ago! What's new? I don't see anything new, not even a new post? What gives? Why's it taking so long!? Nah, it's okay, I'm just really pumped to play this mod. So c'mon already!!! Please?

Still highly anticipating Dystopia V1! Love the game and can't get enough of it!

Any update on when this thing might be released??? Really looking forward to this, as I am a BIG SG1/SGA fan. Also, into HL2, and with the potential of Stargate in HL2 Engine, I can only think... HOT DAMN.
